Due to the complexity of abnormal structure of the cruise ship,the particularity of structural materials and the diversity of structural loads,abnormal structure of the cruise ship often have different failure modes under different loading conditions.It is of great significance to determine the ultimate bearing capacity and failure mode of the abnormal structure of the cruise ship under different loads.This paper mainly studies the connection position of the long span stiffened plate,hollow laminated glass beams connecting the upper and lower decks,the large opening glass curtain wall of the bow and side of the ship and the connecting joints of the glass and steel frame in the glass curtain wall,and calculates the ultimate bearing capacity of the structure.The first part studies the reduction of ultimate bearing capacity of lower deck under topside pressure form the pillar due to multi-deck arrangement of cruise ship.Based on the finite element software ABAQUS,the finite element model of the connection position of the long span stiffened plate and pillar with initial defects was established,and the influence of different loading modes and structural parameters of the pillar,longitudinal girder and web beam on the ultimate bearing capacity of the long span stiffened plate was analyzed.In the second part,the ultimate bearing capacity of simply supported hollow laminated glass beams subjected to axial compression and the combined action of external bending moment and axial compression is studied.The finite element model of hollow laminated glass beam is established,and two theoretical calculation methods of A2 and A3 are proposed,and compared with A1(Eurocode code),the applicability and advantages of the three theoretical calculation methods under different conditions are analyzed.In the third part,based on the verification of the finite element results and the correctness of the boundary conditions,the ultimate bearing capacity of the defective cruise ship glass curtain wall unit under compression and shear is studied.The effects of three types of connection between steel frame and laminated glass,four types of adhesive and three types of glass on ultimate bearing capacity and failure mode were investigated.The influence of the thickness of adhesive on the ultimate bearing capacity is studied by selecting a kind of connection type between steel frame and laminated glass plate with good mechanical properties.In the fourth part,on the basis of verifying the correctness of the finite element results,the numerical simulation of four-point bending test is carried out for the adhesive joints between laminated glass and steel frame in the glass curtain wall.Through quasi-static analysis,the ultimate bearing capacity and failure modes of four types of adhesive joints are compared,and the influence of three different types of adhesive and three different types of glass on the ultimate bearing capacity and failure modes of joints is studied.At last,the influence on the width and thickness of adhesive of a kind of joint which is easy to manufacture and has good mechanical properties was studied.
