| To provide new evaluation indexes and methods for the health status of natural forest ecosystems in mountain parks, and to provide a reference theoretical basis for ecological construction and scientific management of natural forests in mountain parks, this study investigated the soil fauna and related environmental factors in three mountain parks within the main urban area of Chongqing.A total of 2,578 soil fauna individuals were captured, and the largest number of soil fauna were six categories of suborder Methanogaster, predaceous suborder,Nematoda,Ploepoda,Elasmobranch, and Mesopoda, accounting for a total of 61.13% of the total;the remaining 20 categories of species, including Arachnida,Hymenoptera,Isopoda,Lepidoptera larvae,Gastropoda, and Sphingidae, accounted for 38.87% of the total remaining.A large number of environmental factors potentially affecting soil faunal community stability, multiplicity, abundance, body size, diversity, and life history strategies were analyzed and screened. It was found that the soil faunal community in the study area was in an unstable state and might be in the primary stage of succession toward larger size and fewer individuals;soil type, depression and altitude significantly influenced soil fauna, with apoplankton, high depression and low altitude promoting community abundance, abundance and diversity, and vice versa;soil fauna had a "larger size, lower abundance" pattern. Finally, location, soil organic matter, air temperature, slope, slope direction, and vegetation type had no effect on soil fauna. |
