| The issue of women’s safety perception has always been a vital frontier research and practice issue in the public space environment.People often see criminal incidents in which women in parks are followed,sexually harassed,or even killed from media reports.Previous studies have mainly focused on the building space on the ground and the range of green park space.The underground commercial space also increases the women’s safety risk due to the lack of natural light and landscape,difficulty finding ways,and lack of air circulation.This study combines the theories of environmental psychology,environmental behavior,safety psychology and other disciplines.By analyzing the characteristics of gender differences and women’s physical and psychological safety needs,the influencing factors of underground commercial space safety perception from the perspective of women are summarized.This research constructs an evaluation index system for underground commercial space safety perception from the perspective of women by means of literature analysis:functional format,spatial scale,facility environment,monitoring and management,social behavior,psychological perception 6 criterion levels and 27 indicator layer factors.Then,the weight of each indicator is determined through a questionnaire survey of expert scores and user scores.Select typical underground commercial spaces in the main urban area of Chongqing—Shapingba Three Gorges Plaza underground shopping mall and Daping Golden Elephant Family underground shopping mall as samples,carry out field research,field measurement,and questionnaire survey,and conduct data analysis on this basis.Through SPSS 22.0 test,reliability and validity are qualified,and the questionnaire is combined with field-measured data.Finally,the evaluation results of the sample are calculated-the total scores of the Three Gorges Square underground shopping mall and the Golden Elephant Family underground shopping mall are 69.780 points and 55.580 points,belonging to the grades of "relatively good" and "basically qualified" respectively.At last,an optimization strategy is proposed for the problems existing in the two evaluation samples.After the above analysis,this study draws the following conclusions:(1)The influencing factors of female safety perception in underground commercial spaces are sorted out,and an evaluation index system is constructed based on that;(2)The total weight is obtained according to 7:3 after obtaining the significance of female safety perception evaluation index of experts and users;(3)The evaluation indicators of women’s safety perception in underground commercial space are classified and quantified,and the fuzzy evaluation level is defined;(4)The evaluation system for women’s safety perception in underground commercial spaces is systematically constructed;(5)The empirical study is completed—the construction validity of the evaluation system based on the evaluation of Shapingba and Daping underground retail space;(6)According to the problems reflected in the evaluation results,the optimization strategy of safety perception of Shapingba and Daping underground commercial space from the perspective of women is proposed.This study analyzes the safety issues of sample underground commercial spaces in terms of practical application,puts forward suggestions,and proposes optimization strategies for urban underground commercial areas that improve women’s sense of security to attract female consumers. |
