Pulse power source charging power supply is used to convert the energy of primary energy source into high-voltage direct current output in order to meet the requirements for fast,high-precision,and sustainable charging on electromagnetic launch technology.Based on the interleaved parallel Buck modular circuit,this paper carried out the design and simulation of pulse power source charging power control system,and built an experimental platform to conduct related experiments to verify the design results of the control system.The main contents include:(1)Designing modular circuit topology with sub-modules based on interleaved parallel buck circuits.The carrier phase-shift modulation method is selected to analyze the characteristics of current ripple and peak value during charging,and the effectiveness of using this method to control the charging power supply of pulse power source is demonstrated.(2)According to the demand for constant current output of charging power supply,an improved PI control method is proposed.Aiming at the problem on voltage loss of pulse capacitor,the design of voltage retention module is carried out.Aiming at the problem on inconsistent state of charge on multiple parallel energy storage devices,a dynamic voltage equalization part is designed.In order to realize the function of continuously charging the capacitor during continuous transmission,relevant control interface and control procedure are designed.(3)To ensure the safety of the circuit,control and protection circuit is designed for transient overvoltage caused by the continuous switching of sub-modules between input and cut-out state and the temporary overvoltage caused by control system failure.Taking advantage of the modularity of the circuit,the method to deal with failure of some submodules is proposed.(4)Based on the design of control system,a charging circuit simulation model was established,and the design was verified through simulation results.A verification experiment platform was built,including charging equipment,data acquisition,communication and control interfaces,insulation protection and other components.Charging experiments were carried out on pulse power source prototype,and the results of the charging power supply design were further verified by the result.
