In recent years,the railway industry,with the extensive application and vigorous development of autonomous driving technology,has brought great benefits to people’s livelihood and promoted the development and progress of society.In urban rail,intercity and high-speed rail,autonomous driving technology has a relatively mature application,but in the field of ordinary-speed railway,the development of autonomous driving technology is relatively weak.However,currently,China is still a country with a large proportion of ordinary-speed railway and a large transportation demand.Drivers of ordinary-speed railway need to face a long time and high intensity workload,and the working environment is relatively remote and harsh.It is urgent to study the automatic driving technology of ordinary-speed railway,so as to reduce the current labor intensity of drivers,reduce the working pressure of drivers and improve the transportation efficiency of vehicles.At present,the ordinary-speed railway driving assistance technology has been preliminarily researched and applied in practice.In 2019,Railway Corporation organized relevant tests in Haoji Railway,and achieved phased results.The successful case of Haoji Railway shows that the successful application of the driving assistance technology of the ordinary-speed railway has a good foundation.On this basis,this paper further studies the automatic driving technology of the ordinary-speed railway,and the main contents include:(1)Analyze the demand for automatic driving system of ordinary-speed railway.From the aspects of function,performance,design principle and application scenario,the requirements of automatic driving system of ordinary-speed railway are put forward,and requirements of automatic driving of ordinary-speed railway are analyzed layer by layer.(2)Analyze the technical difficulties of automatic driving on the ordinary-speed railway.Firstly,according to differences between the ordinary-speed railway,urban rail and high-speed railway,the existing problems in the realization of automatic driving of the ordinary-speed railway are analyzed.Aiming at the existing problems,train dynamics model is established and train control algorithm and driving strategy optimization scheme are designed.The key technologies involved in the implementation of the system,such as train interface simulation,train precise parking,train and ground wireless communication,are studied.(3)Study and analyze the scheme of automatic driving system for ordinary-speed railway.Firstly,the hierarchical structure and functional characteristics of the whole system are introduced.Then,the hardware and software structure of ATO,the key equipment of automatic driving,is designed,and the important technical means used in design process are analyzed.Finally,the whole system and equipment fault safety analysis,at the same time for reliability security of certain RAMS security calculation and evaluation,to check whether the equipment used to meet the relevant security requirements.(4)Application and verification of automatic driving system for ordinary speed railway.Through the means of laboratory and field verification,the laboratory and field test selected the eastern suburb ring road of the Railway Academy as the test line,and the locomotive used HXD1 type of domestic electric locomotive.The designed system carried out static test,logical function test and operation result test,and achieved the expected purpose.
