| Urban commercial plazas are totally indispensable for square landscape in cities,where are usually located in the center of the city and conspicuous main streets.With the improvement of the life quality and the increasing functional demands of landscape space,the functional requirements of landscape need to satisfy gradually increase,and the research perspectives on landscape design of scholars also become more and more pluralistic.However,domestic researches on the comprehensive commercial plaza system are insufficiency,besides,shortages of the landscape design still exist in a condition of reality.The article starts with the perspective of landscape suitability,and the main urban area of Zhengzhou is taken as the example to conduct generous field investigations,moreover,the systematic study of the landscape of Zhengzhou Commercial Plaza is conducted by combing with the method of landscape evaluation.The large commercial plazas ranked high in various aspects in the literature summary are selected as the research object by dividing the main commercial squares in the main urban area of Zhengzhou by administrative regions.After series visits and investigations,17 commercial plazas are finally selected as the object of specific practical research,which a landscape evaluation system is established for in-depth analysis from aspects such as their landscape surrounding environment,internal design,and tourists’ feelings.Such as Dennis David City in Erqi District,Xintian 360 Square in Jinshui District,Zhongyuan Jinyi City in Zhongyuan District,Huiji Wanda Square in Huiji District,Shenghuali Shopping Center in Guancheng Hui District,and other commercial plazas.The main contents and conclusions are as follows:1.It is concluded that there are currently four major issues in Zhengzhou’s commercial plazas through visits to 17 plazas: duplication of square design elements,lack of characteristics in the overall landscape design of the square,or lack of links between the theme and the city,single application of plants in square design,and lack of interactive facilities in square design.2.A landscape suitability evaluation system for commercial plazas is established using the AHP-TOPSIS POE composite model method,which includes six criteria level indicators and 25 index level factors.The ranking of weights in terms of accurate measurement layers from high to low is: Functional Suitability(26.13%),Landscape Suitability(20.97%),Ecological Suitability(17.12%),Environmental Feeling(16.17%),Spatial Suitability(11.10%),Social Suitability(8.52%).The top five indicators that have a significant impact are service facilities,plant level richness,signage systems,performance Japanese design,and road pavement.3.According to the comprehensive weight of every AHP,the relative proximity of positive and negative ideal solutions are evaluated for the 17 research objects,and the top five ranking from high to low is: Greenland New Capital · Xintian 360 Square(0.7167),Shenghuali Shopping Center(0.6496),China Resources MIXC City(0.5903),Meijing · Happy Square(0.5352),Huiyi Yinhe Li(0.5347).Combine the POE satisfaction questionnaire and obtain a consistent sequential structure.4.Combining the case analysis and the evaluation results of the research object plazas,the article proposes four design principles: functional suitability,ecological suitability,spatial suitability,and interactive diversity.5.Based on enriching the form of square landscape and improving its suitability,the application design is carried out combining theory with practice. |
