Research On The Location Of Student Dormitory In ZJ University

With the continuous enrollment expansion of students in ZJ College every year,the number of college students has risen sharply,and there is a serious shortage of student dormitories,meanwhile,in the context of rapid social development,students’ demand for accommodation environment is also becoming higher and higher.Through questionnaires survey,field investigation and analysis,this paper summarizes the existing problems of student dormitories layout in ZJ College,and determines the principles of student dormitory site selection.Six main factors affecting the location of student dormitory in ZJ College are systematically analyzes:(1)Regional hardware factors: including the area of the area and the shape of the land used in the area.(2)Distance and convenience to the teaching and research area: distance to the teaching building,the library and the office building.(3)Distance and convenience factor of living area: including distance to supermarket,express center,canteen and clinic.(4)Distance and convenience to recreation area: including distance to activity center and sports area.(5)Surrounding environment factors: including environmental noise value,green coverage area,distance to the college fence,arrival time of emergency vehicles,number and distance of security posts.(6)Factors of traffic convenience: including the number of surrounding parking lots and parking spaces,and the number of entrance roads at the gate.Collecting and analyzing some statistical data which influence the alternative newly built student dormitories,this paper calculates the central coordinates by using the method of center of gravity-differential method,and selects the alternatives that meet the site selection of new student dormitories.The alternatives were analyzed and evaluated by using the method of relative relationship arrangement,load distance method and hierarchical analysis,and the optimal solutions for the new student dormitories are derived from them.The article is divided into seven main parts: First,the background and the significance of domestic and international research on site selection and student dormitory layout at home and abroad.Second,an overview of the theories and methods related to dormitory site selection.Third,the current situation and existing problems of student dormitory layout in ZJ College.Fourthly,the principles and consideration of the site selection of student dormitories in ZJ College.Fifthly,the alternative plan for sites selection of newly built student dormitories in ZJ College.Sixth,the choice of the alternative site of the newly built student dormitory in ZJ College.Finally,the overall site selection of newly built student dormitories is reviewed and summarized.
