| The end plate connection assemble joint with top and seat L-type connectors proposed in this paper is a new joint by combining two traditional semi-rigid connection methods:top and seat angle connection and end plate connection.This new joint can be widely used in substations and multi-layer steel frame residential system.This paper summarizes the previous research on H-shaped steel beam-column joints,and on this basis,the low-cycle reversed loading experiment and finite element numerical simulation analysis were carried out on the end plate connection assemble joint with top and seat L-type connectors.The seismic performance of this node and the influence of different structural parameters on the seismic performance of the node are studied.The main research contents include:(1)The cyclic loading tests of three 1:1 half-connected side column-beam joint specimens were carried out under cyclic loads.The effects of length and thickness of L-type connector’s long limbs on the bearing capacity,hysteresis behavior,skeleton curve,energy dissipation capacity,ductility,and failure mode are analyzed.Some suggestions are put forward on the structural design of this new beam-column joint.(2)Using the method of finite element numerical simulation analysis,a finite element model based on the test specimens in this paper was established,and the mechanical performance indexes of each specimen were obtained and compared.By comparing with the test results,the accuracy and reliability of this calculation model are verified,and the internal force development mode and stress characteristics of this node under the reciprocating load are further determined by the corresponding stress clouds at different rotation angles.(3)Based on the finite element hysteresis analysis,the mechanical properties of the joints under monotonic load are analyzed,and the development parameters of the L-type connectors such as the length and thickness of the long and short limbs and the thickness of the end plate on the static performance and internal force of each specimen are analyzed.And the influence law of deformation characteristics,the selection of relatively superior component form is recommended for the practical application of the node.(4)Based on the results of finite element analysis and experiment,the joints are theoretically analyzed on some aspects such as bearing capacity checking and stiffness checking to provide theoretical basis for structural design and analysis.In this paper,combined with the low-cycle reversed loading experiment,finite element numerical simulation analysis and theoretical analysis,the mechanical properties of this new type of node are studied,and the mechanical properties and failure of specimens with different structural dimensions as control parameters are explored,what provides a reference for the subsequent research and practical application of the end plate connection assemble joint with top and seat L-type connectors. |
