Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors(PMSMs)are widely used in aviation propulsion systems due to their dynamic variability and strong coupling, which make them prone to inter-turn short circuit faults. If not addressed promptly, these faults can lead to more severe short circuit failures, significantly impacting performance and lifespan.Additionally, existing research often approaches the problem from a singledomain perspective in either the time or frequency domain, resulting in the loss of important data features that affect diagnostic outcomes. To address these challenges in inter-turn short circuit fault diagnosis in PMSMs,this thesis focuses on the following research work and achievements:(1)A multi-domain fusion-based diagnostic method for inter-turn short circuit faults.Specifically, the Continuous Wavelet Transform(CWT)is used to convert the original phase currents into two-dimensional time-frequency representations. This information, along with the original phase currents,is utilized to establish a Dual Channel Parallel-Convolutional Neural Network Model(DCP-CNN).The model consists of two channels: the upper channel processes the original phase currents to extract global time-domain features, while the lower channel processes the twodimensional time-frequency representations to capture fine-grained local features.(2)An early-stage inter-turn short circuit fault diagnosis method based on negative-sequence current.By analyzing the original currents of the PMSM during steady-state operation and early-stage inter-turn short circuit faults, and applying the symmetrical component method to obtain negative-sequence currents,it is observed that the negative-sequence currents can effectively differentiate the three-phase imbalance caused by early-stage inter-turn short circuit faults. Therefore,a fault diagnosis model based on negative-sequence current is developed to achieve earlystage inter-turn short circuit fault diagnosis.(3)Implementation of a monitoring and diagnostic tool for inter-turn short circuit faults in PMSMs,enabling reusable and systematic handling of fault information. This tool assists maintenance personnel in troubleshooting, improving efficiency, and facilitating the health management of PMSMs.Experimental results demonstrate that this research has significant theoretical value in terms of preserving information, improving the accuracy of inter-turn short circuit fault diagnosis, and obtaining early-stage fault information.Furthermore, the designed and implemented monitoring and diagnostic tool meets the requirements of inter-turn short circuit fault diagnosis in PMSMs,providing substantial engineering application value in enhancing the safety and reliability of aviation systems.
