Study On Landscape Design Of Recreational Spaces In Chongqing Riverside Park

Riverside parks are having to deal with an increasing amount of serious issues due to resource waste,ecological harm,and environmental pollution as cities expand and prosper.National ministries and commissions have developed relevant policy documents to direct creating recreation space in riverside parks in collaboration with developing cities.Chongqing,a well-known historic city bordered by water and mountains,has carried out many governance and improvement projects to help creating the recreation space in riverside parks.It is a crucial part of the riverside park because the landscape improvement of the recreation space in the riverside park can satisfy the needs of the locals for outdoor recreation and offer a public forum for conversation.However,there are issues related to the unique geographical circumstances and early stages of blind development,including poor quality greenery,bad road accessibility,a lack of recreational opportunities,and a lack of historical significance in the riverside park.Therefore,it is worthwhile to find out how to design the landscape of the recreation space in the riverside park.This thesis uses the recreation space of riverside parks in Chongqing’s Central City as its research subject.It combines theoretical and empirical research,employs problem-solving techniques,and combines theory and application to guide future studies on the landscape design of recreation spaces in riverside parks.The following sections of the entire document are split for discussion.For discussion,the complete text is divided into the following sections:First,this thesis develops from theoretical research,selects the research object and purpose under the background of the research,studies the current state of domestic and international research,separates the relevant concepts and design theories of the recreation space in the riverside park,summarizes the issues,and draws out the solutions by summarizing the excellent design cases at home and abroad.The second part of this essay examines the purposes of recreation spaces in riverside parks,including its morphological features,landscape features,and several riverside park design styles.For Chongqing’s nine riverside parks,a field survey is done.To find out people’s willingness to engage in recreation,and their preferences for particular recreation,as well as the classification of recreational behavior,the preliminary research examined the characteristics of park visitors’ recreational behavior.The findings of the study show that people’s expectations and choices for recreation are influenced by the characteristics of various groups of people.The latter investigation examined the layout of the park’s sites and facilities starting with the representative issues that the locals had expressed.The study comprises the satisfaction profile,data analysis,linear relationship,and result analysis of construction.In the analysis of the arrangement of the riverside park,the absolute index of the park’s sites and amenities,rather than the relative index,can have a larger impact on users’ satisfaction with the number of sites and facilities.Therefore,this thesis outlines the unique present issues that exist in Chongqing’s riverside parks through field research and data analysis,which include: " Lacking interest due to the single arrangement;poor facilities detract from the recreational attraction;the recreation area lacks vibrancy,and the landscape is of poor quality;poor ecological conditions prevail,and there is just one seasonal phase of the vegetation;the absence of regional traits and cultural connotations." As a result,this article further proposes the following relevant development ideas for the riverside park recreation area’s landscape design,which as follows: " Create a composite space To gather energy for the space;boost site facilities;to improve the recreational experience;create three-dimensional spaces to improve the quality of the landscape;increase the vegetation and improve the natural environment;keep the local culture alive and pass on the cultural memory."The last step is to conduct a case study of the Diaoyuzui Peninsula-Song of the Yangtze River Music Park in Dadukou District,Chongqing,to suggest reasonable design solutions for the construction of the landscape environment,construction of the cultural spirit,and creation of spatial nodes in the park.This will demonstrate the viability of the landscape design strategy that was suggested above.
