Abstract/Summary:
In this paper,we design and develop a solar-powered electric sightseeing vehicle for modern new rural traffic from the actual needs of new rural residents’ traffic and travel,which is powered by solar energy and not only has various functions such as travel,transportation,sightseeing and display of goods,but also is energy-saving,environmental protection,quiet and comfortable,safe and convenient.The main research content is as follows:(1)Solar-powered sightseeing vehicle design.According to the design requirements,the whole car design scheme is determined.The whole vehicle is welded with hollow square steel,3m long,1.45 m wide and 1.8m high,which has the advantages of light structure and strong load capacity.It adopts solar energy and utility dual power supply system,powered by ternary lithium battery plus three-phase asynchronous AC motor,with solar panel plus super capacitor for driving continuity,and also 220 V AC direct charging when solar energy supplement is insufficient.Adopt rear wheel drive front wheel steering,four wheel hydraulic plus vacuum power braking system.(2)Control system design.According to the control requirements of the solar electric sightseeing vehicle,the hardware and software design of the control system was completed,the capacity of the ternary lithium battery,the power of the drive motor,the capacity of the super capacitor and the size and quantity of the solar panel were determined,and the energy control system was optimized.(3)Test analysis.After completing the design of the whole vehicle structure and control system,a prototype solar electric sightseeing vehicle was manufactured and the steering maneuverability,power,safety,energy consumption rate and range of the solar electric vehicle were analyzed through field tests.The test results show that: the minimum turning radius of the electric sightseeing vehicle is 3938 mm,the acceleration time of0-40km/h is 15.17 s,the maximum speed is 42km/h,the unloaded braking distance is 8.6m,the full-load braking distance is 10.1m,the range of single lithium battery power supply is70 km,the combined energy range is 110 km,and the full-load climbing performance is good with a climbing capacity of 20%.Meet the rural road conditions.(4)Optimized design.The 3D model design was carried out using UG software,and the calculation and selection of core parts of the electric sightseeing vehicle were carried out.The vehicle performance tests were conducted to provide suggestions for further optimization of the design.
