With the development and promotion of computer application technology and modern engineering design theory,mechanical gear design and manufacturing technology has developed rapidly.The lightweight design concept has penetrated into the design and manufacturing process of mechanical gears,and has gradually replaced the traditional rough design and manufacturing concept.Lightweight technology is a comprehensive application that integrates product design,manufacturing,and raw materials.Its ultimate goal is to reduce weight,enhance performance,and reduce costs,and to achieve a balance between these three aspects,Lightweight research has higher economic benefits.As a transmission part widely used in mechanical equipment,the research of its structure lightweight has played an important role in the realization of lightweight construction machinery.This article analyzes the current research status of gear lightweight at home and abroad in detail,with the goal of reducing the weight of the gear structure,using the method of joint optimization of MATLAB genetic algorithm and ANSYS to carry out lightweight research on the gear structure.The main contents of this article is as follows:(1)Gear statics simulation analysis based on APDL.A pair of involute spur gears was parametrically modeled using APDL,and mechanical parameters such as tooth surface contact stress and tooth root bending stress were obtained by static simulation analysis,which lays the foundation for subsequent gear structure optimization design.(2)Optimal design of gear structure based on genetic algorithm.The minimum gear weight is selected as the objective function,the number of teeth,modulus and tooth width coefficient of the driving and driven gears are used as design variables,and the contact fatigue strength and tooth root bending strength of the gear are used as the constraint condition.The genetic algorithm and ANSYS joint optimization method are used to optimize the gear.Assistant for structural optimization design.(3)The topology optimization of the gear spoke structure.The variable density topology optimization method is used to optimize the topology of the gear spokes.Under the premise of ensuring that the structural rigidity and natural frequency meet the actual requirements of the project,the best distribution form of the gear structure material is obtained.(4)Modal analysis of gear lightweight structure.Modal analysis of the optimized gear is carried out to obtain the natural frequency and vibration shape of the gear,which provides theoretical support for the rationality of the lightweight design of the gear structure.
