China has entered the era of high-speed railroad comprehensively,and the locomotive field is booming in recent years.In the process of locomotive traveling at high speed,the speed can reach 420km/h.Although the glass used in locomotives is specially treated to increase the glass resistance to breakage;the front end and body are streamlined to reduce the air convection pressure,the locomotive glass is still subjected to strong air pressure.In some cases locomotive glass can still produce scratches,affecting the safety of the glass and posing a threat to the safety of the locomotive and passengers.In order to prevent this phenomenon,it is urgent to discuss the impact of glass scratch length and depth on glass safety.This paper realizes the measurement of glass scratch for the purpose of image processing technology,and uses LabVIEW pictorial language and MATLAB programming language to design the measurement system of locomotive glass scratch.In this paper,a machine vision measurement system is built to measure the length and depth of glass scratches by using image acquisition,processing and analysis techniques for locomotive glass scratches.Firstly,the overall design of the system solution is carried out considering the special characteristics of glass materials,selecting hardware devices and determining the framework design of the whole system platform.Using the feature that a single camera can be swung to achieve the effect of two cameras to shoot the target object from two directions to achieve measurement.Next to use LabVIEW and MATLAB software combined with each other to develop the test environment as the main body,divided into three modules to write,the first module is the main content of image acquisition,the second module is the main function of image processing,image processing procedures for the feature target noise filtering,edge extraction and other processing,the achievable methods to make the effect of comparison,and finally consider the actual The final solution of this project is decided by considering the actual situation.The third module is the measurement of the requested target object.The error of the scratch length measurement is 0.79% and the error of the scratch depth measurement is 4.69%,which is within the tolerance range.The glass scratch measurement system overcomes the errors of the previous single angle measurement and the limitations of laser measurement.
