Application Of Children’s Interactive And Experiential Landscape Design Method On Urban Parks And Green Spaces

Compared with traditional landscape design,interactive experiential landscape is more focused on how to enable experiencers to actively participate in the project,and achieve a harmonious symbiosis through the mutual influence and interaction between experiencers or between experiencers and nature.In the process of experience,users can experience it with their bodies and minds,dialogue with the landscape to have the sympathetic chord from the design,so as to achieve physical and mental relaxation and emotional release.Based on the social background of the open "three-child" policy and the continuous construction and development of child-friendly cities,this paper seeks for a more suitable activity space design method for all-year-old children’s outdoor experience with the help of interactive experiential landscape design.This paper is divided into four sections for discussion.The first part puts forward the necessity of interactive experiential landscape in combination with the current social background,which leads to the intention and significance of this study.Based on the existing research and development results and related theories at the foundation of the early stage of China and foreign countries,the paper direction is limited to the children’s activity space in the urban park green space,and the interaction types of children in the park are defined,and the content and methods are further determined.The second part analyzes the development trend of children’s psychology and behavior of all ages in detail,as well as the influence of interactive experiential landscape on their psychology and behavior development,and carries out field research and data analysis based on this.Field research was carried out in four different types of urban park green spaces to observe children’s play routes,play areas,and the length of staying in the parks,and combine the wear and tear of the facilities to obtain the children’s most realistic feedback on the play experience of each activity area.In addition,combined with online and offline questionnaire methods and on-site free interview data collection methods,the needs of children of all ages and their guardians are analyzed,and the problems existing in children’s activity space in park city green space and the public’s weak cognition and strong demand for interactive experience landscape are identified.In the third part,eight design principles and three design strategies for children’s interactive experiential landscape design are determined based on actual cases,as well as the design methods of environmental landscape construction and interactive game installation that can be relied on to achieve the effect of interactive experiential landscape.Fourth part with case study of Cloud Paradise park in Chengdu,and deeply analyzes the design principles and methods of interactive and experiential landscape for children in the park green space from the perspective of designers.At the same time put forward the existing deficiencies and suggestions for improvement.In the end,the research summary,reflection and outlook for the future are proposed to provide ideas for domestic children’s interactive experience landscape design.
