| A deep study of the relationship between electricity consumption and economic growth will help to formulate reasonable energy conservation,emission reduction and economic development policies under the condition of limited total resources,and also will help to achieve the goal of high-quality urban development.However,the existing studies in this area are mostly focus on the whole country(region),or focus on mining the point-point relationship,network relationships among industries are neglected.It is impossible for the city to have a comprehensive grasp of the economy and electricity.With the rapid economic development and the prominent contradiction between electricity supply and demand,coupled with the availability of data,we choose Tianjin as the research object.Through nonlinear Granger causality test,we can clearly understand the complex relationship between electricity consumption and economic growth in Tianjin.On this basis,the social network analysis(SNA)method is used to build the maximum possible correlation network between electricity consumption,economic growth and the intersection of electricity consumption and economic growth.From this,we will determine the transmission path,identify core industries and put forward suggestions that take into account the economy and emission reduction.Empirical results indicate that:(1)The electricity consumption tends to be stable,and the economic structure is constantly optimized.(2)The relationship between electricity consumption and economic growth in Tianjin is different,and the tertiary industry shows a trend of gradual decoupling.(3)There is a network correlation between electricity consumption and economic growth,and the core industries in each network are different.Specifically,industry,transportation,warehousing and postal services,accommodation and catering are the core industries of electricity consumption network.Industry,transportation,warehousing and post are the core industries of economic growth network.Construction,accommodation and catering industry and industry are the core industries of the intersection of electricity consumption and economic growth network.Compared with the existing studies,this paper is more detailed in the selection of research objects,goes deep into the analysis at the industry level.The choice of research perspective is more comprehensive,from single-industry perspective to multi-industry perspective.The determination of research methods is more scientific,the nonlinear test method is conformer to the actual operation of society. |
