Our country is currently undergoing rapid social transformation,which has resulted in increasingly complex social contradictions and conflicts of interest.We are in an era of full socialization,where young people are experiencing continuous information overload,leading to spiritual fatigue,psychological anxiety,and declining health.Modern young people instinctively seek ways to reduce psychological stress,resulting in the emergence of a healing culture.With the experience economy,users now pay more attention to the sensory experience of products based on the five senses,which is the foundation of all experience design.This study investigates the utilization of healing practices in product design,with a focus on the role of perceptual experience as a foundation and healing products as a vehicle for implementation.Combining related concepts from psychology,sociology,and other disciplines,The paper employs the conceptual framework of sensory experience to assess the viability of the design,through an analysis of illustrative design instances.By utilizing various primary research methodologies such as literature review,cluster analysis,and induction analysis,among others,this paper systematically examines the five senses experience as the core of product design to reduce the psychological pressure of users and give them mental comfort.The research is constructed in three parts,including related concept and principle research,experience-based design analysis and user requirements,and product design analysis and practice.The paper first analyzes positive psychology as the theoretical basis of healing design,followed by the emergence and development of healing design.It discusses the concept of healing product design,the role of perception in healing product design,and the effect of perception on adjusting user emotional experience.Secondly,it analyzes the relevant theories of the five senses experience design and summarizes the different roles of the "five senses" in specific design performance.Finally,The aforementioned statement culminated in the implementation of a design methodology that incorporates the quintessential sensory experiences within the development of therapeutic commodities,thereby offering targeted guidance for product design practices.This paper takes people’s five senses experience as the key to the design of healing products to regulate users’ negative emotions.By adhering to the humanized connotation of design,this paper proposes innovative design methods for healing products design.These methods provide users with a multi-dimensional and three-dimensional product use experience,while also solving users’ emotional regulation problems on the level of emotional needs through product interaction.The ultimate goal is to achieve the emotional experience of healing.
