| Under the construction of beautiful China and all-for-one tourism continue to deepen.The development of road traffic has gradually shifted from smooth and safe transport to comfortable and green.The parallel development of transport line and mountains,rivers,walls as well as other natural and cultural corridors has become the trend of the times.Meanwhile,beautiful highways,the product of the transport-tourism integration,come into being.This kind of new road integrates the functions of smooth travel,leisure,sightseeing,cultural experience,ecological display and so on,and has received vigorous support.The 14 th Five-Year Plan for Tourism Development,the Outline of Building a Powerful Transport State and the Opinions on Promoting the Integrated Development of Transport and Tourism have been released in succession,promoting a large number of beautiful highways construction practices in various provinces and cities.Yunnan Province has also proposed to build a 9000 km "colorful highway system" with seven themes.According to the traffic and tourism development plan during the 14 th Five-Year Plan period,a network of beautiful highways will continue to weave the beautiful Chinese dream.However,under the practice exploration,various landscape problems have appeared.The main reason for these problems is the beautiful highway landscape quality lacks scientific quantitative evaluation methods.Based on the review of the construction and management experience of scenic roads at home and abroad,this study sorts out the research of road landscape quality evaluation,and finds that the key problem originates from the defects of research methods.There is a gap between the evaluation subject and the landscape object,and a gap between the subjective feeling and the objective science in academic circles.Therefore,how to measure objectively and scientifically the evaluation of "beauty" at the visual perception level should be the focus of research.This study establishes the research objectives from theoretical level,empirical level and strategic level.First,in term of the theoretical level,this study puts forward the evaluation strategy of beautiful highway landscape quality from three stages.1)The EDVAET method is used to determine the shooting position,and the landscape photos of the beautiful highway are taken during the round trip.The image recognition technology is used to identify the landscape elements of the image processed by the visual field,and finally the visual field proportion of the landscape elements is obtained.2)Based on the Visual Impact Assessment and the EU-funded Visulands Framework,Naturalness-Artificiality,Diversity-Coherence and Openness-Deepness are selected.The calculation of the 3 indicators is based on the landscape proportion identified,and it is accurately expressed in the non-scale form.3)On the basis of non-scale semantic evaluation indicators,the spatial distribution map and density plot of each indicator are expressed.Analyze the overall landscape characteristics of each index and the landscape characteristics of abnormal points.It is also possible to compare the landscape quality for individual road sections.Finally,three semantic values are employed to construct the 3D semantic quadrant model,which can scientifically and intuitively express the overall situation of beautiful highway landscape quality.Second,in terms of the empirical level,Simao-Mengyang Expressway and Nujiang Scenic Road are selected for empirical analysis according to the construction situation and classification of Yunnan beautiful highway.1)From the identification results,the landscape elements of the two beautiful highways are diverse.The landscape theme of the Simao-Mengyang Expressway is ’a rainforest road with little human intervention’,while the Nujiang Scenic Road is ’a valley road with a village feel’.2)From the evaluation results,the low value of NA index is distributed on the start and end of the Simao-Mengyang Expressway.While the low value of DC index is distributed on the middle.The OD indicator fluctuates.The 3 indicators of Nujiang Scenic Road have greater fluctuations than Simao-Mengyang Expressway,and more irregular.The landscape character varies from section to section,sides to sides s,but the differences decrease as the scale of observation increases.Third,in terms of the strategic level,this paper puts forward the targeted landscape optimization strategies based on empirical research and landscape problems in the case,and also summarises the design and planning strategies for beautiful highways.1)Design strategies include reducing the interference of artificial factors,avoiding excessive complexity of elements and creating pleasant spatial changes.2)Planning strategies include enhancing the sense of unity,planning the secondary theme of different sections,and strengthening the differences between the two sides.The research results demonstrate that the digital recognition of the visual field of human eyes is conducive to making the measurement results of landscape quality more accurate and objective while taking into account subjective feelings.In theory,the new paradigm has realized the objective digital presentation of human visual perception,and filled the gap between public evaluation and expert evaluation paradigm.Furthermore,the theoretical research on road landscape quality has been improved,which is conducive to the construction of China’s beautiful highway grade access system and selection system.In practice,based on this method,the overall level of beautiful highway landscape quality can be easily measured.In this regard,the site rectification measures can be put forward in accordance with the high values,low values and abnormal values of the data.In addition,this study hopes contribute to the high-quality development of beautiful highway system. |
