With the gradual deepening of the new energy system reform in our country and the background of advocating the green transformation of energy,wind power has become an important direction to achieve the green transformation of energy.In the area with wind power resources,the construction of small wind power generation system becomes a new choice of small load power supply.As the most critical part of wind power conversion,wind generator has become the focus of research in the field of wind power generation,among which permanent magnet generator with high power density and torque density has been widely valued and applied.Due to the mutual influence of electric load and magnetic load setting,the electromagnetic design performance and optimal design performance of conventional permanent magnet generator are restricted.However,the transverse flux permanent magnet(TFPM)generator has the characteristics of essentially high power density,high torque density and the decoupling of electrical load and magnetic load,which is very suitable for low speed and high torque wind power generation.In order to further improve the power density,torque density and power factor performance of TFPM motor.On the basis of summarizing the TFPM motor with different topological structures,this paper presents a new type of disk-type transverse flux permanent magnet(DTFPM)generator.This generator not only inherits the characteristics of TFPM motor,but also combines the performance advantages of centralized winding motor and disk-type motor.As a result,the generator has the advantages of high torque density,independent decoupling of electromagnetic load,low copper consumption of armature winding,small volume and low moment of inertia,which has important research value in the field of small direct-drive wind power generator.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Describes the background and significance of research topic.It includes the current development status of wind power at home and abroad and the development status of small wind power generators,the typical TFPM motor topology structure and current development of TFPM motors at home and abroad and the main content of the study in this paper.(2)A new topology structure of DTFPM generator is presented for direct drive application of wind generator,the structure principle and advantages of DTFPM generator are introduced,and the main dimension design is carried out.(3)The equivalent magnetic network analysis,finite element analysis and verification,and performance parameters of the DTFPM generator are studied.Firstly,the equivalent magnetic network model of DTFPM generator is established,and its calculation is carried out based on the magnetic network model.Then,the 3D magnetic field of DTFPM generator was simulated and calculated by 3D-FEM,and the calculated results were compared with the equivalent magnetic network method.Finally,combined with the structure characteristics of TFPM motor,the power factor of DTFPM generator and the relationship between the power factor and torque density were studied.At the same time,the influence of the structural parameters of the generator on its magnetic leakage was analyzed,and the characteristics of the magnetic leakage change of the motor were summarized.(4)The optimal design of cogging torque and torque ripple of DTFPM generator is studied.Firstly,the generation mechanism of the cogging torque of the generator was analyzed,and the influence of the change of generator parameters on the cogging torque and back EMF was studied.Then,the cogging torque of the generator was optimized by the combination of response surface method and NSGA-II genetic algorithm to achieve the purpose of reducing cogging torque and torque ripple.Finally,the results of the combined optimization are verified by 3D-FEM simulation.(5)According to the above design and analysis,the DTFPM generator prototype is manufactured and tested.It includes the assembly and experiment of DTFPM generator prototype,and then the experimental results of the prototype are compared with the previous simulation results to verify the rationality and accuracy of the previous generator design.
