Applied Study Of Majiayao Abstract Pattern In Designing The Modern Fiber Wall Hanging

The Majiayao painted pottery culture,as an important component of traditional Chinese culture,has a milestone significance in the long river of Chinese history.Among them,representative patterns such as frog patterns and vortex patterns are more favored by designers.In the context of economic globalization and cultural diversity,the public’s demand for aesthetics is increasing day by day.Exploring how to innovatively transform traditional patterns and make Majiayao culture conform to the trend of the times has become a topic worthy of our research.Fiber wall hanging art,as another kind of art,has been favored by the public because of its unique artistic language.In recent years,the development of fiber art in China has been particularly rapid,and designers are increasingly paying attention to the connotations expressed in their designed fiber works when creating art.Integrating the abstract patterns of Majiayao into modern fiber wall hanging design not only finds a new material carrier for the inheritance of Majiayao abstract patterns,but also provides inspiration for the design and creation of modern fiber wall hanging art.This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction section,which elaborates on the research background,domestic and foreign research status,research content and methods,and analyzes the purpose and significance of the research.The second chapter analyzes and organizes relevant information on the abstract patterns of Majiayao,outlining the three types of Majiayao painted pottery culture.By classifying the abstract patterns of Majiayao,the formal beauty characteristics of Majiayao abstract patterns are summarized,and the material layer,referential layer,and modern semantics of Majiayao abstract patterns are deeply analyzed from a semantic perspective.The third chapter provides a detailed review of the concepts and constituent elements of modern fiber wall hanging design,summarizes the morphological characteristics of modern fiber wall hanging,determines the form of graduation works,and finds a design fit in the abstract patterns of Majiayao and modern fiber wall hanging.Chapter 4 is an important part of this paper.Through online search and survey questionnaires,a case study of Majiayao painted pottery patterns was analyzed,summarizing the design principles that Majiayao abstract patterns should follow in modern wall hanging design,as well as the design methods that combine the form,color,and meaning of Majiayao abstract patterns with fiber wall hanging as carriers.A complete framework integrating Majiayao abstract patterns with modern wall hanging design was constructed.Chapter 5 is the design practice and outlook of this article.By applying modern design methods and principles,starting from the four aspects of shape,color,meaning,and material of patterns,the traditional abstract patterns of Majiayao have been innovatively transformed into modern ones,and modern fiber wall hanging design works of "inheritance" and "regeneration" have been designed.This provides a new attempt for the modern development of Majiayao painted pottery patterns and revitalizes traditional culture.
