Regarding the slurryability and atomization of fuel slurry prepared from organic industrial waste residue, this article takes a low melting point organic industrial waste residue as the research object to explore its slurry preparation process and atomization characteristics.Through elemental analysis and industrial analysis,it was found that the volatile content of the waste residue is 81.33%,with a low calorific value of 30.96 MJ/kg,which is at a high level. The water contact angle of the waste residue was measured to be 72.44° through water contact angle experiments, indicating that the waste residue has a certain degree of hydrophilicity but not strong hydrophilicity. The activation energy of waste residue at different stages of thermal decomposition and different mechanism functions was obtained through thermogravimetric analysis.Observing the thermal decomposition process of waste residue through a high-temperature hot stage microscope,it was found that its deformation temperature(DT)was 65℃,softening temperature(ST)was 85℃,and flow temperature(FT)was 115℃.The slurryability of waste residue is influenced by various factors such as particle concentration, type and proportion of additives, particle size distribution, and grinding method.Through experiments, the effects of five different additives on the pulping effect of waste residue were studied. It was found that when sodium lignosulfonate(LS)was used as an additive, the slurry had the best flowability, with a viscosity below 30 mPa·s.We studied the slurryability of waste residue at ratios of 30wt%,40wt%,50wt%,60wt%,and 70wt%.It was found that slurryability is difficult when the waste residue ratio is higher than 50wt%,and the higher the ratio, the more difficult it is to slurryability; When the proportion of waste residue is less than 40wt%,it is difficult to use it as fuel slurry. The final determination of the proportion of pulping waste residue is 50wt%,and the pulping method is wet pulping. The atomization characteristics of-the waste slurry were studied using experimental and CFD numerical simulation methods.Through atomization experiments,it was found that when the airflow velocity is constant, the larger the jet velocity of the slurry, the larger the droplet size and atomization cone angle after atomization; When the velocity of the slurry jet is constant, the higher the velocity of the airflow.the smaller the droplet size and atomization cone angle after atomization.Through numerical simulation,it was found that when the airflow parameters remain unchanged(vair=340m/s),At 5 m3/h,the droplet dispersion in space is better, and the smaller the slurry flow, the smaller the atomized particle size, and the less significant the influence of gravity on the velocity distribution in the y-axis direction; When the slurry flow rate is greater than 0.5m3/h,the atomization is in a jet shape, and the dispersion of droplets in space is poor. The larger the slurry flow rate, the larger the particle size of the atomized droplets, and the more significant the influence of gravity on the distribution of velocity in the y-axis direction.
