Multi beam sonar is a high-precision detection device consisting of two parts: the dry end and the wet end.Among them,the dry end of the image sonar includes a sonar interface unit and display and control software,while the wet end is composed of a system that separates the transmitter and receiver.The multi beam sonar receiving system includes an analog signal acquisition module,a digital signal processing module,a data transmission control module,and an upper computer display and control software.Among them,the data transmission control module is an important component of the entire sonar receiving system,and it must provide sufficient transmission bandwidth and stable control timing to meet the needs of long-distance,high-resolution detection and other occasions.This article introduces the design and development of a multi beam sonar data transmission control module and hardware processing platform based on Xilinx ZYNQ 7100 processor.The research content includes:Firstly,determine the design indicators,complete the digital baseboard schematic design of the digital signal processing module and data transmission control module according to the design indicators,design the power module of the receiving cabin,and draw and debug the PCB.Secondly,logical development was carried out using Verilog HDL language to achieve cross clock domain data reception between LVDS and SRIO,which was written to the DDR on the ARM end through FDMA bus;Communicate commands and working parameters with ARM through EMC bus,and generate synchronization cycles and resets required for system operation based on the working parameters forwarded by ARM and control commands;By using the RS485 communication protocol to communicate with the deck unit in real-time,the reception and analysis of command,time,PPS,and auxiliary equipment information were completed;Generate TVG gain codes through commands and operating parameters.Finally,based on the Contex A9 dual core ARM processor provided by the ZYNQ So C processor,application programs are developed using the built-in SDK of VIVADO to achieve data communication with display and control software,as well as data communication with FPGA.The main counting involves technologies such as multithreading programming and socket network programming.The research content of this article has successfully completed the design and debugging of a multi beam sonar system,achieving the hardware platform requirements for digital signal processing and data transmission.The laboratory system was jointly debugged and tested,and all functions were working normally.The stability of the system was verified through pool testing.
