Electric vehicles have gradually used hub motors to replace engines,which can effectively reduce fuel consumption and exhaust emissions and promote green development.However,hub motors have strict requirements for the size,structure,weight,and efficiency of the selected motor.Currently,most electric vehicles on the market use centralized drive motors,most of which are traditional radial flux permanent magnet motors.However,these motors have shortcomings such as large size,low power density,low transmission efficiency,and complex structure.Through research on axial magnetic field hub motors,it is found that compared to traditional radial motors,axial magnetic field motors have unique advantages in terms of structure,size,power density,and are more suitable for use as hub motors.Therefore,it is particularly important to develop axial magnetic field hub motors with high power density,simple structure,and high efficiency,which is of great significance for promoting the development of China’s new energy vehicle industry.This topic selects a pure electric vehicle on the market as the target for installation and matching,and designs an axial magnetic field hub motor with a single rotor and dual stator structure.The motor meets the requirements for hub motor driven vehicles in terms of size and performance.Firstly,the paper studies the power requirements of the axial magnetic field hub motor drive system,analyzes the structural and performance parameters of the entire vehicle,and completes the design of the target torque and other parameters of the motor;Then,the relevant theories of motor design are studied and studied.According to the target performance indicators of the motor,the size design,slot pole fit,air gap length,and other relevant parameters of the hub motor are determined;Next,analyze the basic theory of electromagnetic field,and then use ANSYS Maxwell to analyze the motor,using the finite element method.Using the ANSYS Maxwell simulation software,the hub motor designed in this paper is modeled and simulated.Through simulation and analysis of the magnetic density cloud diagram and magnetic induction line distribution of the motor under both noload and load conditions in static and transient magnetic fields,it is proved that the design of the motor parameters is reasonable.The back electromotive force curve,magnetic chain curve,torque curve,etc.under no-load and load conditions are simulated,and compared with the design objectives,It is proved that the design goal of the motor is feasible,and its structural dimension design is reasonable;Finally,based on the theories of electrical engineering and electromagnetism,combined with the performance requirements and technical structure requirements of hub motors,the overall structural design modeling and assembly of hub motors are completed in the SOLIDWORKS environment.The main components of the motor include stator core,winding,rotor,planetary reducer,and other main components.The outline structure,design method,and mutual coordination of the main components are described,the mechanical properties of the main structures were analyzed to verify the reliability of the motor structure,and the overall structure design of the motor was completed.
