In the power rotary transmission system, torque and speed are the basic information that reflects the operation status of the system.Torque and speed measurement is the main source of information for monitoring the performance of various power equipment and early warning of system failure, and is an indispensable link for quality inspection, test analysis to achieve the expected goal, and an important parameter for design. If the torque speed of the equipment can be tested in time and accurately, the force situation and the mechanism of some physical phenomena can be analyzed and studied, and the occurrence of potential dangers can be better avoided, providing reference for the following work to ensure a stabilized operation of the equipment.Since the engine overheating of armored vehicles will occur during use, especially in environments such as plateaus,it is necessary to cool the engine. The fan is an important part of the heat dissipation device of the armored car, through which it can quickly cool down and ensure that the engine can work normally. The power of the engine is transmitted to the fan by mechanical transmission, then the fan rotates. This article addresses a situation where a sharp change in the engine speed of a tank armored vehicle in a vehicle research institute may cause damage to parts on the fan linkage. In order to avoid this situation,a device for testing the torque speed of the fan drive shaft of an armored vehicle was designed.According to the design requirements and design principles of the test system, this paper introduces several commonly used torque speed measurement methods and the basic principles of the measurement methods, and determines the torque speed test methods suitable for installation on tank armored vehicles through analysis and comparison.Modularization design is used to carry out the overall design scheme of the test system, the hardware system design and the software system design. In this paper, welded strain gauges are selected for torque measurement, photoelectric thru-beam sensors are used for speed measurement, and A/D conversion and optical communication transmission and reception are accomplished through the control of the main control unit(MCU).In order to avoid electromagnetic interference and other influences, the test system adopts the power supply mode of infrared LED-photovoltaic cell combination. The circuit board is designed the fan shape and ring shape, which can better adapt to the space.Aiming at the environmental adaptability of the torque speed test system, screening tests such as high and low temperature test, vibration test, dynamic balance adjustment test were carried out,and finally the bench test of the device was carried out, which achieved the expected design goal.
