| With the development of computer graphics,real-time graphics simulation has been widely used in many fields such as military simulation, geographic visualization and analysis, and urban management.Such simulation application scenarios put forward higher requirements on the degree of restoration of 3D terrain environment compared with the real area.To meet this challenge, this paper proposes a procedural simulation terrain generation method based on remote sensing data, which completes the construction process from remote sensing data to simulation terrain environment with three main processes: landcover distribution generation, procedural terrain modeling, and terrain environment construction, and improves the quality of simulation terrain environment construction result. In the study of landcover distribution generation,in order to solve the problem of landform distribution mapping from real environment to simulated terrain environment, this paper proposes a Landcover distribution generation network(LDGN)for natural environment, which is capable of generating high quality landcover distribution map(LDM)through single satellite image input.Meanwhile,a new landcover classification dataset based on Sentinel-2 satellite remote sensing data is produced in this paper to support the training and test of the LDGN.In the study of process terrain modeling,in order to solve the problem of missing terrain modeling details caused by low accuracy of Digital elevation model(DEM)data, this paper proposes a process terrain modeling method based on landcover distribution, which achieve a hierarchical terrain modeling process from global to local to improve the quality of terrain modeling detail. In the study of terrain environment construction, based on LDM,this paper proposes a mapping method from remote sensing data to terrain environment, which controls terrain texture by remote sensing parameters, and also designs an iterative vegetation layout generation algorithm to achieve a connection between terrain environment and remote sensing data to improve the simulation level of terrain environment. |
