Study On The Protection And Renewal Design Of Dong Traditional Villages In Tongdao County,Western Hunan

With the acceleration of China’s urbanization process,the attention to urban development and the relative neglect of the development of rural areas have resulted in the increasingly prominent urban-rural dual structure.Because of its complex terrain,relatively remote regional location and traditional production structure,traditional villages are facing problems such as the damage of material space and style,and the obstruction of intangible cultural inheritance.How to comply with the development trend of the times under the existing economic and social conditions,and find the breakthrough point in combination with the historical evolution of the village,so as to realize the traditional inheritance,development and renewal of the village is a contemporary topic to be discussed in the "Research on the design of traditional village protection and renewal".Tongdao County in Western Hunan has the natural and geographical characteristics of "nine mountains,half water and half fields".The traditional villages of Dong Nationality in the county have irreplaceable charm and research value because of their unique natural style,cultural and historical resources and settlement style.This paper takes the Dong Traditional Village in Tongdao County as the research object,mainly based on the theory of architecture and planning,and adopts the methods of field investigation,comparative analysis and case study to establish a set of Dong village development model and design method system with universal adaptability.Firstly,through field research,this paper summarizes and analyzes the background,spatial characteristics and current situation of traditional villages;Secondly,it makes a case study on the development problems,solutions and results of the successful model of protection and renewal of domestic typical ethnic minority traditional villages,makes a case comparative analysis and strategy commonality summary,and summarizes the Enlightenment of protection and renewal of traditional villages.Based on this,it is proposed to study the protection and renewal of villages from the perspective of "internal and external synergy",locate the model through the analysis of policies,resources and regional background of village development in Tongdao County,and put forward the principles of village protection and renewal;Then,taking Gaotuan village in Tongdao County as a specific example,the corresponding protection and renewal design is carried out from the four aspects of the overall pattern,landscape environment,roads and streets and public space of Gaotuan village from the settlement level;Finally,from the architectural level,this paper puts forward the architectural protection and renewal strategy of creating the hierarchical protection mechanism of buildings,optimizing the internal space layout of buildings and continuing the external style of buildings.It is hoped that this can provide useful guidance for the protection and renewal of Gaotuan village,and provide reference for the protection and renewal of Dong Traditional Villages in Tongdao County.
