Analysis Of The Landscape Space Of Dong Rural Settlement Landscape In Tongdao County Of Hunan Province

Dong is a nationality with deep cultural details and long history. After tribalmigration of different periods in the history, the Dong became the domestic rare nationwith concentrated residence and self-contained because of the rally, communication,collision and fusion of different cultures.The cultural characteristics of the Dongnationality and the cultural characteristics of the crowd combined with the local naturalgeographical environment, which form the Dong district. The formation of the Dongwhole spatial construction experienced a very long historical process of evolution.The monomer residential, public buildings, public space and so on in the Dongvillage have formed a whole village spatial form with national characteristics. So far,the study of the Dong district is mainly focused on the type, distribution andtechnology of building, however, the study of the Dong village about integral spatialconstruction is still relatively few.In this paper, landscape space building in the Dong village as the main researchpoint in Tongdao county of Hunan province, the historical and cultural background ofthe Dong settlement in Tongdao county, and its landscape spatial form andcharacteristic have been researched. The physical space construction has beenelaborated by the specific case of the Dong villages, and the historical developmentprocess of the whole landscape space and landscape features have been recorded. Atthe same time, by comparing the Dong agrestic settlement landscape with the samegeographical environment of Tujia and Miao, we can characteristics of landscape spaceconstruction of the Dong settlements and the "personality" and "common" of Spacecomposition, such as the Dong people make good use of the terrain to create a suitablespace environment for human survival and development, and try to create a harmonious living environment space, which all reflect the universal values of“harmony between human being and nature”. The Dong settlement is keen on theconstruction of public buildings, which reflects its national centrality, national unityand so on.Through layers of parsing about Dong agrestic settlement landscapespace,we can put forward a guiding strategy for the sustainable development of Dongvillage.It has important practical significance for the protection and development ofancient villages,too.
