Research On Place And Environmental In Rural Settlements Of The Chengdu Based On Textual Narration

Due to its superior geographical environment,the Chengdu Plain has formed a unique form of rural settlement.In modern times,changes in production and lifestyles have led to changes in Chengdu’s countryside settlements.With the change of settlement form from traditional forest panes to local settlements with European architectural style,and then to the construction of new Chinese villages in recent years,Chengdu countryside has experienced three modes of evolution: "traditional architecture--traditional environment"--"Westernized architecture--traditional environment"--"symbol architecture--villa environment".In the process of evolution,the beautiful settlement environment inherited from ancient times has been hard to find in today’s settlements.As the inheritance of rural culture and the material space attached to it,it is the concentrated reflection of regional settlement.Meanwhile we should pay attention to the renewal and protection of settlements in the future.Poetry texts,as the medium of humanistic inheritance,contain the cultural factors of the ancient settlement environment and can be used as text materials for the study of the ancient settlement environment.Through the method of symbol schematization,it can restore the environment of ancient settlement and provide support for the development of contemporary settlement.This paper takes the historical settlement environment as the research object,and takes semiotics as the theoretical basis.By combing a large number of poems and texts,combining with the schema language,it constructs a transformation method between text symbols and schema symbols,and forms a transformation system of "character"-"word"-"sentence".In this paper,this transformation system of environmental schema texts is applied to the restoration of the ancient settlement environment.Before restoring the historical environment,this paper studies the relationship between the settlement environment and the development of agricultural poetry in Chengdu plain and obtains the time range of the highly correlated settlement environment and the development of poetry.According to the time range and combined with the description objects of the poems,the texts of the poems are screened out,then a database of poems and texts on the settlement environment of the Chengdu Plain is constructed.Moreover,extract the image symbols of the text in the database and convert them into schema symbols to get the "character" in the environmental schema text.Afterwards,according to the poems and historical descriptions,each part of the environment is studied separately,and the "words" in the environment schema text are schematized.Finally,according to the relevant research,the various parts of the ancient environment are combined into the overall settlement environment space,forming the "sentence" in the schema text,so as to restore the ancient beautiful settlement space and environment.The main results of this paper are as follows:1.On the construction of settlement environmental restoration system: According to the study of theories such as the semantic triangle of symbols,the stipulation properties of symbols,the deep structure of symbols,and the formation principles of texts,the transformation system of literary texts and schematized texts is obtained.This method can be applied to environmental studies using literary texts as materials.2.On the Restoration of the Historical Settlement Environment of Chengdu Plain:Starting from the three levels of natural human environment,settlement environment and architectural form,the geographical environment,natural environment,road space,waterfront space,settlement form,building plane,building facade,building courtyard,building landscape and other aspects in the settlement be analyzed in detail.Finally,combined with the settlement layout form,the overall schema of the settlement environment is obtained.3.On rural environmental protection and renewal strategies under cultural heritage:Combined with the restoration schema of historical settlements and the investigation of the current situation,three design principles are proposed: exploring the cultural character of countryside settlements,ensuring the continuity of settlement environment,and insisting on the practicality of design.Seven strategies are proposed,including continuation of traditional layout,creation of main public space,activation of water system function,reservation of resilient space for land use,construction of grey space and courtyard space,application of traditional architectural elements,and creation of landscape level and diversity.
