Research On The Design Of Future Retirement Communities In Villages From The Perspective Of Urban-rural Integration

With the continuous economic and social development,in order to improve the imbalance between urban and rural development,a new pattern of social development of urban-rural integration is proposed in the light of China’s actual national conditions.At the same time,with the demographic dividend disappearing and the traditional intergenerational family relationship changing,the demographic disadvantage of an ageing population with fewer children in China is gradually emerging,which has put forward higher requirements on China’s originally lagging elderly care policy,elderly care industry and elderly care facilities.At the same time,the improvement of people’s living standard has led to a higher level of demand for the landscape environment,ageing-friendly design and medical resources,instead of being limited to housing,food and services.With the traditional family model of retirement not meeting the needs of most people and the uneven development of the institutional model,more and more elderly people will prefer the community model of retirement in the future.Unlike the existing research on community retirement models,this paper is based on the perspective of urban-rural integration and focuses more on rural areas from a geographical perspective.The future community retirement model for rural areas is a supplement to the current mainstream retirement model in China,and at the same time provides an effective reference and new research ideas for the development of new modes of rural retirement industry.The establishment of the rural community retirement model can effectively integrate rural industries,which is of great significance to the upgrading and development of rural industries.It can help release excess capital in urban areas,relieve the pressure of urban retirement,and help coordinate the unbalanced and insufficient development of urban and rural areas,thus promoting the integrated development of urban and rural areas,and promoting mutual benefit and win-win situation in urban and rural areas.Based on the analysis of existing research,this paper focuses on the actual needs of the elderly with a certain level of spending power in urban and rural areas,as well as the current and future youth and middle-aged population for the future retirement community in rural areas,under the perspective of urban-rural integration.By comparing the existing retirement models in China and summarizing their shortcomings,the feasibility of future community-based retirement models is analyzed,and the development of existing retirement industry models in rural areas is analysed in the light of the basic characteristics of rural retirement life,so as to clarify the keynote of the development of rural retirement communities in the future.Then,we analyse the existing research cases,conduct a questionnaire survey and analyse the results of the research on the needs for the development of retirement communities in rural areas,and then develop principles and strategies for the design of future retirement communities in rural areas that are in line with the background of urban-rural integration and the actual needs of the elderly,and finally design a future retirement community in Wuyi Village,Feng Jing Town,Jinshan District,Shanghai.Finally,the design of the future retirement community in Wuyi Village,Feng Jing Town,Jinshan District,Shanghai,is demonstrated.The future retirement community in the countryside studied in this project is dedicated to creating a living environment for the elderly through sustainable ecology and the integration of medicine and health care,which can,on the one hand,create a smart and ecological retirement living space that meets the needs of the elderly in the new era.On the other hand,it is conducive to meeting the growing and gradually diversifying needs of the elderly in their old age,while at the same time,a good natural ecological environment in rural areas can help the elderly to develop physically and mentally,and can also meet their aspirations and spiritual needs for an idyllic life.
