Mine is a kind of conventional defense weapon used in military.Because of its low cost and remarkable effect, mine is widely used in wartime and plays a great role in modern war.Ultra wide band(UWB)pulse electromagnetic wave exploration technology is a technical method to detect underground media and buried material information by using broadband high-frequency pulse electromagnetic wave.As a non-contact nondestructive detection method,it is widely used in the field of geological exploration. However, mine detection is different from traditional geological detection.Mine targets have the characteristics of small volume, shallow burial and large differences in physical characteristics. When facing mine detection, the existing ground penetrating radar still has great room for improvement in data collection quality, instrument portability and detection accuracy.Based on the mine detection technology of UWB pulse electromagnetic wave, combined with the propagation characteristics and change relationship of UWB electromagnetic pulse in underground medium, this paper constructs the mine detection system of UWB pulse electromagnetic wave, carries out channel design, simulation and algorithm optimization, and realizes the functions of signal generation and transmission, echo reception, signal interference elimination and so on.The main research contents are as follows:(1)In view of the shortcomings of the existing pulse induction mine detection methods,a UWB pulse electromagnetic wave mine detection method based on the analysis of the spectrum characteristics of narrow-band echo is proposed, and the transmitted signal parameters affecting the detection depth and accuracy are adjusted. The best method of generating UWB pulse is determined through simulation and comparative analysis.(2)The overall framework of the mine detection system based on UWB pulse electromagnetic wave is proposed. The UWB pulse is generated by the pulse synthesis technology based on relative delay. The UWB pulse electromagnetic wave signal generation and transmission, echo receiving channel circuit and the matching transceiver antenna are designed. The system signal transceiver software is developed, and the system debugging and testing are carried out to verify its reliability.(3)According to the propagation characteristics of pulse electromagnetic wave, the propagation direction, energy loss, wavelength change and clutter interference in underground medium are deeply analyzed, and the pulse electromagnetic echo is simulated. An interference elimination method based on variational modal decomposition is proposed, and its parameters are adjusted by sooty tern optimization algorithm(STOA);Multiscale permutation entropy(MPE)is used to distinguish modes, and moving average method(MAM)is used to process and reconstruct modal signals. Finally, this method is used to analyze the measured signal, and the results show that this method can meet the design requirements.
