The adornment of female providers in Tang Dynasty in Dunhuang frescoes shows the mystery and law of women’s self-beautification in Tang Dynasty,which is a verifiable historical witness of women’s adornment fashion in ancient China and leaves important image data for the study of women’s adornment and ornaments in Tang Dynasty.Applying the decorative elements of Dunhuang Tang Dynasty female providers to the design of women’s cultural and creative products has achieved the integration of traditional and modern female fashion,and is also a product presentation that is inclusive of visualization,emotion,and historical significanceBased on the representative portraits of female patrons in Tang Dynasty in Dunhuang,this thesis focuses on the adornment elements and images of female patrons in Tang Dynasty in Dunhuang frescoes,combines the current situation of female cultural and creative product design,and summarizes the basic characteristics of female consumer psychological activities,dominant factors,aesthetic trends and design needs.On this basis,it tries to carry out female cultural and creative product design practice with the theme of female providers’ adornment elements in Dunhuang and Tang Dynasty.Cultural and creative product design combines mural elements with modern female consumer psychology,refines the iconic patterns in the images of female providers in Dunhuang Tang Dynasty with modern design techniques,and focuses on the modern transformation of decorative elements such as characters,bun,hair accessories,clothing and makeup,and strives for the resonance of female consumer groups on the premise of ensuring the practicality and aesthetics of products.Through creative transformation,the use of cultural symbols in the design of current female accessories products is not only conducive to highlighting the rich female decoration resources in Chinese culture,but also connecting ancient and modern women’s self-beautification psychology and enhancing their cultural identity and resonance.This research promotes the modern transformation of historical heritage by means of modern cultural and creative products with both aesthetic value and historical implication,carry forward and spread the fashion style of Tang Dynasty in China.The decoration elements of female providers in Dunhuang frescoes in Tang Dynasty injected new cultural connotation and design inspiration into the modern design of female cultural and creative products,which promoted the aesthetic research of the decoration elements of female providers in Dunhuang in theory,and provided new design ideas for female cultural and creative products in practice.
