A Study Of The Evolution Of The Urban Park Landscape In Lhasa

Urban parks are a relatively important part of modern urban construction.In recent years,in order to carry out the new development concept of the 19 th National Congress,speed up the pace of ecological construction,and implement the guidelines of the 14 th Five-Year Plan of "promoting green development and harmonious coexistence between human beings and nature",urban park construction has been developing rapidly.A number of city parks have sprung up,improving the ecological environment and the quality of life in Lhasa.At the same time,Lhasa is a historical city,so it is of great practical significance to analyse the evolution of Lhasa’s urban park landscape by digging deeper into the city’s historical lineage,so that we can more accurately grasp the landscape positioning and cultural characteristics of Lhasa’s urban parks and avoid a uniformity.Through the survey of urban parks in Lhasa,the author selects five city parks in Lhasa with representative significance and large visitor flow,and analyses the research results according to the theories learned.The evolution of the urban park landscape in Lhasa is discussed and analyzed from multiple perspectives,with a view to making the landscape design of Lhasa’s urban parks a narrative of Chinese culture,a cohesive national art,a historical heritage,and an important place to carry out cultural activities for the citizens of Lhasa and foreign visitors and to unite the sense of community of the Chinese nation.The details of the study are as follows.(1)The author has established the research direction of the study of the evolution process of the urban park landscape in Lhasa by collating the research background,research significance,research content and research methodology,and by summarizing and analyzing the research-related literature based on the concepts of urban parks,cultural heritage and cultural characteristics.(2)The evolution of the urban park landscape is inextricably linked to economic development.Under the premise of economic support,the government and society collaborate in many aspects,and urban parks are being renewed all the time.The city chosen for study in this paper,Lhasa,has high research value due to its unique geographical location and climatic conditions formed by its location on the Tibetan Plateau,its historical and humanistic environment and ethnic culture,which present us with the characteristics of urban park development with multi-ethnic cultural fusion in the course of urban park landscape development.The authors make an all-round study of the evolution of urban park landscape in Lhasa from the aspects of cultural characteristics,plant configuration,service targets and design concepts.(3)Through field research and combined with the results of the public favorability questionnaire,the author made comments and suggestions on the existing problems of urban park landscape in Lhasa,sorted out the research content and collected data,and put forward the strategy of urban park landscape design in Lhasa.On the basis of respecting regional culture,inheriting historical context and integrating multi-culture,this paper puts forward four principles of integrity,locality,ecological sustainability and people-oriented in the design of Lhasa urban park landscape,and puts forward the design performance of Lhasa urban park landscape in the aspects of garden road design,landscape materials,landscape sketch and plant design.The urban park landscape of Lhasa inherits the cultural and historical context,inherits,protects and develops the unique ethnic culture of Tibet,and integrates and co-exists diverse cultures.The author hopes that the research results of this paper on the evolution of urban parks in Lhasa can be used for reference to solve the practical problems of urban park landscape design in Lhasa.
