With the development of the Internet of Things and Smart Grid, the traditional singlechannel access method cannot meet the existing business requirements.Power line and wireless hybrid communication can achieve complementary resource advantages, save construction costs, and have important application prospects in the Internet of Things and smart grids. The existing research on hybrid communication focuses on the performance analysis and optimization of the physical layer. Therefore,it is necessary to study the Medium Access Control(MAC)layer algorithm in different scenarios of hybrid communication to meet the needs of flexible access of stations with different physical layer technologies such as diversity and multiplexing.Aiming at the problem of dual-media diversity parallel transmission, this paper proposes a MAC layer algorithm and performance analysis model based on dual-interface parallel access.Firstly, the backoff process of the station in the two channels is analyzed, and a low-complexity parallel algorithm is proposed;then the probability and transmission probability of the station in different backoff stages in the two channels are calculated, and the throughput, collision probability and other system performance indicators are deduced. Finally, the simulation verifies the validity and reliability of the algorithm and model, and analyzes the influence of the CSMA/CA-TDMA scheme and the station waiting time on the system performance.Aiming at high throughput and low latency communication services, this paper proposes a MAC layer scheme and a performance analysis model suitable for dualinterface multiplexing access.Based on the dual-channel Markov model of power line and wireless, the paper proposes a MAC layer algorithm for dual-interface multiplexing access.By analyzing the coupling effect of stations, the probability of stations competing for two channels at the same time is deduced;then the performance indicators such as the overall transmission probability, throughput, collision probability and delay of the system are calculated;finally, the validity and reliability of the algorithm and model are verified through simulation experiments, and the effects of different MAC layer parameters in dualinterface stations and data transmission of non-saturated stations are analyzed.Theoretical and simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively improve the throughput and delay performance.
