Rural building energy conservation is a key content of China’s new rural construction.Making full use of renewable resources to improve the indoor thermal environment of buildings is an important link to improve the quality of rural living environment.Although the northwest of China is cold in winter,it is rich in solar energy resources. On this basis, using the advantages of the local area to develop passive solar house will be an effective way to improve the rural residential indoor thermal environment in winter and realize energy saving and emission reduction. The evaluation of solar houses is an important basis and standard to prove whether passive solar houses are applicable in rural areas and the heat utilization efficiency of solar houses. However, the current passive building evaluation system covers a wide range of passive houses across the country, while there are few studies on the application effect of solar houses in rural northwest China. Most residential buildings in rural areas are designed and built based on experience.Although some traditional dwellings adopt the principle of passive solar heating, the lack of corresponding specification, lead to the utilization of solar energy is low, poor indoor comfort level ascension Because of the lack of standardized assessment of the development potential of passive solar houses in the northwest region and the systematic evaluation of the heating performance of solar buildings, the promotion of solar houses in China is slow. Therefore, the establishment of a solar residential heating performance evaluation system has a positive effect on promoting the application of passive solar residential buildings in rural areas in Northwest China and improving the indoor thermal environment in winter while saving energy and reducing carbon.Firstly, through field research and testing, the basic information such as the structure of existing rural houses in the northwest region, residents’ living habits, the condition of indoor and outdoor thermal environment, winter thermal comfort demand characteristics are mastered. It is concluded that passive solar buildings should be used in rural areas in the northwest to meet the thermal comfort of residents.Based on China’s green building evaluation standard and Japan’s CASBEE evaluation system, the correlation analysis module of SPSS software is used to determine the evaluation index suitable for the rural areas of northwest solar building heating performance evaluation index,to evaluate the application effect of passive solar buildings.Secondly, the first-level index layer of the evaluation system is obtained by analyzing the influencing factors, which are: building overall design, indoor thermal environment, energy utilization, and further refining the first-level index layer to obtain the second-level index layer. Then through the establishment of typical building mathematical and physical models, adopting the research method of combining theoretical analysis and numerical simulation, the indicators are analyzed with the Design builder energy consumption simulation software, affect the performance of construction. Finally, the comprehensive evaluation and building grade evaluation of solar residential buildings in rural areas of Northwest China are obtained by integrating all index scores.Hope that through this paper, the evaluation system of the heating performance of rural solar houses in northwest China will be established, which will provide beneficial reference for the promotion and application of solar housing in northwest China and the improvement of rural solar building evaluation system.
