As a core part of electrified railways,the safety of catenary is paramount.However,in addition to being affected by the intrusion of dust nets,plastic bags,kite wires and various floating objects caused by windy weather or human factors,the catenary may also shorten the distance between it and the grounding body due to water seepage and ice formation at the top of the tunnel when the temperature is low in winter,which may cause ground faults or accidents and interrupt the operation of electrified railways.Therefore,timely removal of intruding foreign objects in the catenary is of great significance to ensure the normal operation of the train.The main research contents are as follows:In order to ensure the effective removal of invasive foreign objects from the catenary,the time limit for removing invasive foreign objects from the vehicle-mounted device was obtained by analyzing the relationship between the travel speed of the maintenance vehicle and the working distance of the laser.When selecting the power range of the laser,it is necessary to consider the efficiency and economy of the removal operation.By establishing the laser heat source model,the water seepage and icing model at the top of the tunnel and the hanging foreign object model on the contact line in COMSOL Multiphysics,and the cleaning operation efficiency under different powers was analyzed,the mechanism of laser removal of invasive foreign matter from the catenary and the power range that can effectively remove the invasive foreign matter of the catenary were obtained.So as to solve the problem that the existing removal methods can only deal with water seepage and ice on the top of railway tunnels or foreign objects hanging on the contact net,a vehicle-mounted integrated removal device was developed.In this paper,the overall hardware structure of the device is designed according to the simulation calculation results and the actual situation of the clearing operation,and the various hardware modules such as the laser emitter,power module,triangular fixed gimbal,safety system and scope of the device are reasonably selected.In order to test the actual use effect of the device,the working condition of each module of the device was first tested through functional tests,and the test results showed that the laser could produce light stably and the irradiation position was stable,and the power supply of the power module was normal.Secondly,the field test was carried out in a training base of a power supply section to verify the removal effect of the device on foreign objects and icicles,and the test results showed that the device can quickly remove common foreign objects on the catenary at a long distance,with high aiming accuracy,and will not damage the catenary during operation,which has certain engineering application prospects.
