The decorative motifs of the cultural relics excavated from the Tomb of the Marquis of Haihang are a concentrated expression of the production life,aesthetic concepts and cultural ideas of the Western Han Dynasty,highlighting the unique aesthetic and material ideas of the society at that time.The application of the motif elements from the Tomb of the Marquis of Haihang to the design of contemporary cultural innovation products can bring great inspiration to contemporary art design,and can also serve as a source of inspiration for contemporary art creation.In this paper,we take the decorative motifs of the relics excavated from the Tomb of the Marquis of Haihang as an entry point for practical research,and apply the innovative design to the cultural and creative products.Through specific practical cases,the artistic value of the motif decoration of the relics excavated from the Tomb of the Marquis of Haihang is analysed,and the way in which the motif decoration can be used in contemporary cultural innovation products is found,and linked to the artistic style characteristics of the relics excavated from the Tomb of the Marquis of Haihang,providing new creative ideas and inspiration for contemporary cultural and creative products.
