The friction pair of seawater hydraulic axial piston pump is more susceptible to corrosion due to its working environment,which will lead to the decrease of efficiency stability and service life of hydraulic pump.In recent years,textured surfaces have gradually become an important means for scholars to improve the lubrication of friction pairs.However,the current research on textured surfaces usually focuses on single-scale textures,while the research on cross-scale textured surfaces is very limited.This article conducts a sample study on planar friction and wear based on the planar wear state of the planar valve pair,focusing on the design of cross scale texture based on previous research,and studying the impact of cross scale texture on lubrication and friction reduction.Firstly,the liquid film models of textured non-smooth surfaces with different morphologies were established.The bearing capacity and friction coefficient of the liquid film were calculated by finite element simulation software.The optimal texture morphology was obtained by orthogonal test,and the bearing capacity,flow rate and flow direction of the liquid film were analyzed.At the same time,the influence of the pit diameter on the bearing capacity and friction coefficient of the liquid film was analyzed.It was found that the friction reduction effect of the millimeter-scale pits was the best.Then,the friction pair of GF / EPR and 316 L stainless steel was tested by friction and wear tester.The change of friction coefficient and seawater temperature were recorded,and the morphology of the friction test before and after the test was observed.It is found that the higher the friction coefficient is,the higher the temperature of seawater will be.The textured surface has better friction reduction effect than the smooth surface,and the wear of the textured surface is less than that of the smooth surface.Finally,the bearing capacity and friction coefficient of the liquid film are analyzed by finite element simulation,and the specific influence of the two arrangements on the static pressure bearing capacity of the liquid film is analyzed in detail.The experimental results indicate that the two cross scale texture designs proposed in this paper can achieve similar bearing capacity and friction coefficient compared to the single scale optimal scheme with reduced pit area.
