| In recent years, there have been numerous public health events, such as SARS,H1N1 influenza,COVID-19,and influenza A virus, which have sounded the alarm of health;meanwhile, cities are developing rapidly and urban environmental problems are becoming more and more prominent.More and more studies focus on the connection between health and physical environment, and restorative environment, healthy city, and healing environment have become hot spots for research. In this paper,we study the design of a healing environment in the Dongheyan area of Beigong Town,Fengtai District,Beijing from a health perspective. The Dongheyan area is in the stage of transformation from rural to urban, and the rural and urban landscape coexist, which is a "realistic slice" of urbanization development;at the same time, the Dongheyan area is adjacent to Beijing Garden Expo Park, which has a certain amount of water-friendly space and a good healing potential in general. The design and research of the healing environment along the Donghe River area adopted research methods such as literature review, field investigation, questionnaire survey, and experimental research.Based on literature research and field investigation,an IPA survey questionnaire for the healing environment in the Donghe River area was constructed;Based on previous research results,IPA survey questionnaire results, current situation, and existing plans,a healing environment design strategy for slow traffic, public spaces, and healing buildings has been proposed, and scheme designs have been carried out for these three aspects. The design scheme based on the healing environment design strategy proposed in this study will be compared with the inferred conventional design scheme through experimental research,By using Heart Rate Variability(HRV)and Recovery Environment Scale(PRS),the different psychological changes caused by the two plans were reflected to verify whether the plan based on the treatment environment design strategy produced good therapeutic effects.Research has found that in the element layer of the healing environment IPA questionnaire, the higher IPA index is in the healing buildings(13.56),water areas(12.71),public spaces(12.65),and slow traffic(8.05);The IPA indicator layer is distributed in the second quadrant improvement area, including the overall environment of public spaces(G3a),the number of parks(G3b),the therapeutic natural environment(G4a),the medical and nursing service type healing buildings(G4f),the number of healing buildings(G4i),and the integration degree of water and public spaces(G5c).This indicates that the design of the healing environment in the Donghe River area should focus on these aspects.Based on this, combined with previous research, summarize the design strategies for healing environments such as fitness trails, healing streets, five sense parks, adjacent water spaces, office healing buildings, and individual healing buildings. The comparative experimental study between the design scheme(experimental group)based on this strategy and the conventional design scheme(control group)found that the experimental group had significantly lower indicators of SDNN(t=1.521,p=0.003)and RMSSD(t=1.647,p=0.002)in HRV compared to the control group, indicating that the experimental group can make people’s heart rate smoother and produce a more relaxed healing effect; The dimensions of PRS distance(t=5.649,p=0.000),charm(t=7.431,p=0.000),compatibility(t=3.400,p=0.000),and extension(t=5.926,p=0.000)were significantly higher, indicating that the experimental group protocol had better restorative properties. This study can provide methodological references for the environmental design of urban areas from a health perspective in the process of urban development, enabling the urban environment to play a more proactive role in influencing public health. |
