Research On The Design Method Of Regional Cultural Elements In Subway Public Space

In recent years,with the rapid development of China’s economy and the increasing variety of transportation modes in various regions,subway travel has become a part of people’s daily lives.As an important accelerator for current urban development,the subway not only continuously promotes the optimization of urban transportation pattern,but also serves as an important place for the presentation of urban regional culture,constantly highlighting the cultural connotation of the city.China is currently in a period of rapid development of subways,and its strength in engineering construction is self-evident.However,there is still room for improvement in the construction of cultural spaces.In the initial construction period,many large and medium-sized cities had overly modular and convergent design techniques for subway public spaces,resulting in a lack of regionality and artistry in subway public spaces,and even the subway station styles between cities were quite similar.With the trend of high-speed construction,people have gradually realized that the subway,as one of the most commonly used transportation tools for daily travel,is a very excellent carrier for regional cultural dissemination.They have started to use subway public spaces to closely connect urban culture,ethnic civilization,and regional characteristics,promoting subway public spaces to truly become the "exhibition stand" of national essence.At present,the subway system in various regions has formed a situation where a hundred flowers are blooming,but there is still a lack of theoretical guidance.Therefore,exploring the design methods of regional cultural elements in subway public spaces has profound significance for the cultural construction of subway public spaces.The integration of regional culture into subway public spaces can give subway stations significant recognition and memory points.Currently,the design of subway public spaces in China is transitioning from addressing functional needs to inheriting urban culture.Designing subway public spaces rich in regional and urban cultural imagery will undoubtedly become a key focus for sustainable development of subway construction in the future.Therefore,this study takes "regional culture" as the starting point,elaborates on the relevant definitions and manifestations of regional culture,deeply analyzes the regional expression of subway under urban experience,geological conditions,and urban attributes,and demonstrates through case studies that subway public spaces can serve as display platforms for regional culture,establishing a preliminary connection between regional culture and subway public spaces.Secondly,further research is conducted on the basic theory of subway public space,including the definition of public space,the composition of subway public space,and the functions of specific interfaces.Reasonable predictions are made for the future development trend of subway public space,providing effective groundwork for future research.Subsequently,effective classification of regional cultural elements in subway public spaces was conducted,and in-depth analysis was conducted on the characteristics of current regional cultural elements and their specific presentation forms in subway public spaces.Once again,analyze the necessity of combining regional cultural elements with subway public spaces,and provide a feasible basis for proposing design methods in the following text.Afterwards,the specific implementation paths of regional cultural elements in subway public spaces were summarized from multiple perspectives such as materials,colors,light,and pedestrian flow lines.The feasibility of the design method was verified through specific design cases,achieving the integration of theory with practice and deepening the research depth of theory.Finally,based on the perspective of regional culture,this paper provides a diverse perspective on the design of subway public spaces,providing new ideas for the design of subway public spaces in China.I hope that the viewpoints and summaries proposed in this article can provide solid theoretical support for the regional design of subway public spaces,making subway public spaces truly an important display platform for regional culture and radiating the cultural and spiritual construction in various regions of the city.To achieve effective protection,inheritance,and development of local regional culture while enriching people’s cultural life and promoting comprehensive development.
