Research And Application Of Decoration Languages Of Liao Dynasty Porcelain In Mural Design

Liao Dynasty porcelain is totally unique in the throughout the course of history.With extremely characteristic ethnic character,it develops a unique style of art,indicating a cultural product for integration of nomad and inland culture of Central Plains.In this paper,the history background of Liao Dynasty porcelain was reviewed,an analysis was made towards the impact of economy in Liao Dynasty on the development of porcelain,in addition,the decoration languages of Liao Dynasty porcelain was analyzed from five perspectives,including “shape”,“decoration”,“quality”,“color” and “rule”,to summarize the aesthetic characteristics of Liao Dynasty porcelain consequently.Mural refers to the abbreviation of mural decorative art,it contains very unique expressions in terms of decoration.Throughout the whole course of history,murals have constantly developed,and along with the change of times,they have kept presenting a wealth of changes and distinct styles.In this paper,the concept of mural was defined,the general situation of mural development at home and abroad was sorted and analyzed,and the features of murals was summarized from the aspect of style,function,color and material.This paper uses the characteristics of the ceramic decoration language and wall decoration design of the Liao Dynasty to carry out innovative design research.It uses the methods of literature research,book reference,field investigation,analysis and design practice to integrate theory with practice.As the carrier of cultural communication,the wall decoration is designed in combination with modern aesthetic requirements in design practice,targeted at specific groups of people,and finished products are created by digital modeling,mold turning,grouting molding,glaze firing and other practical processes.Finally,modern wall decoration works with the characteristics of the language of ceramic decoration in the Liao Dynasty are designed.
