The third national land survey found that the current cultivated land is less than the original target area in some parts of the country.Considering that food is the primary condition for human survival and development,’ food security priority ’ has gradually become the primary principle of land space planning at all levels.How to implement the cultivated land protection policy,coordinate the relationship between agricultural production and ecological protection,and optimize the spatial utilization pattern of land is an urgent problem for planning decision makers.In the relevant research at home and abroad,land suitability evaluation is a common method for optimizing the layout of cultivated land.However,this method has disadvantages in some aspects,such as the lack of some evaluation information due to the classification of evaluation results,and the inability to select a more suitable cultivation area with the exact target area.Based on this,this paper designs and constructs the ’ optimal iterative extraction ’ model tool,which can be used to optimize the cultivated land in the study area with the exact target value by using the model tool and the evaluation results of land cultivation suitability,so as to reduce the impact of evaluation classification on the optimization of cultivated land layout.Since the target value can be set single or multiple times,this model tool can be applied to study the spatial layout optimization of crops,the prediction of land use scenarios of control variables,and the impact of crop layout schemes on ecosystem services.This paper takes the suitability evaluation of land cultivation,the optimization of cultivated land layout and the impact of cultivated land development as the research context,puts forward constructive suggestions for the protection and development of cultivated land in Wan ’an County,and provides reference for the compilation of countylevel land space master plan whose main function is agricultural product production.(1)Land farming suitability evaluation.Based on the necessary growth conditions of crops such as soil organic matter,soil type,irrigation conditions,sunshine,temperature,topography,etc.,combined with artificial management conditions such as traffic transfer conditions,human resource conditions,land use status,policy control,etc.,a land cultivation suitability evaluation system was established to quantify the suitability of land cultivation in Wan ’an County in space.(2)Spatial layout optimization.Based on the evaluation results of land farming suitability,referring to relevant domestic policies,the scenario of cultivated land protection and development is set,namely ’maintaining the existing cultivated land area scenario ’ and ’ food security scenario’.Using the model builder of Arc GIS,the ’ preferred iterative extraction ’ model tool is designed and constructed to optimize the spatial layout of cultivated land in Wan ’an County under the scenario of cultivated land protection and development.(3)Impact of cultivated land development.In this paper,the In VEST model is used to quantify the habitat quality of the county under the scenario of multiple cultivated land development,and the relationship matrix between the increase of cultivated land area and the change of habitat quality is established.The influence of cultivated land area change on habitat quality under specific scenarios is analyzed,and the threshold value of new cultivated land area in the county is calculated when the habitat quality is rapidly affected,that is,the new cultivated land area in Wan ’an County should not be more than 339.54 hectares,so as to avoid the rapid decline of county habitat quality caused by excessive land reclamation.
