At present,it is a prerequisite and basis for assessing the suitability of resources, environment and development in a region to accurately grasp the resource situation in the region and carry out a new round of territorial space planning.By synthesizing all kinds of spatial data for double evaluation and analysis,we can better technical support for territorial space planning. In this study, the 9th Division of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps is taken as an example by combining metrology, such as Arc GIS,with computing methods, such as computer information technology, and relevant evaluation indexes are selected from three aspects, namely ecology, agriculture and urban areas. From the importance of the conservation, the suitability and agricultural fabrication, urban civil engineering suitability three aspects in the assessment, and on this basis,to explore two aspects of agricultural production and urban construction of the largest capacity. The results are as follows:(1)The ecological protection importance of the Ninth Division was Divided into three levels:Of great importance, importance, and general importance.Steep slopes such as Baruc Mountain of the 161Regiment,Tarbahatai Mountain of the 161,167 and 168 Regiment and Sawur Mountain of the 170Regiment.Ecological emphasis is distributed in each regiment, and the north and west are the most concentrated. The important ecological protection areas are all over the regiment, and the northern line of the 9th Division is relatively concentrated. In general, they cross each other, forming an important pattern of ecological protection in the 9th Division.(2)The suitability of agricultural production in the ninth Division was divided into three grades:general suitability, inadequacy and suitability. The suitable area for agricultural planting production is1480.4km~2,mainly concentrated in the 162nd Regiment,163rd regiment,164th Regiment,164th Regiment,Tuanjie Farm, and the southern part of Emin of 167th Regiment,167th Regiment,168th Regiment and 170th Regiment. The unsuitable area of agricultural planting production is 1579km~2,mainly distributed in the dry land at the west foot of Baluke Mountain of 161st Regiment. The suitable area for animal husbandry production of the 9th Division is 654.5km~2,mainly concentrated in the west of162nd Regiment, the east of 165th Regiment, the north of 167th and 168th Regiment, and the Tori part of170th Regiment, and there are also 249km~2unsuitable area for animal husbandry production. The maximum area that can be supported by agricultural production is 4832.29km~2.(3)The ninth Division has three grades for the suitability of urban construction, which are unsuitable, suitable and generally suitable.Among them,538.8km~2is suitable for urban construction, mainly concentrated in 162nd,163rd,164th Regiment,Unity Farm,Shizhi, and the south of 166th Regiment;Urban construction is not suitable area 2684.9km~2,accounting for 55.5%,mainly distributed in 170 regiment 2 company,166 Regiment 2 company,167 regiment 2 company and 5 company. The to the max area that can be staunch by urbanization civil engineering is 4832.02km~2.The research organically integrates the multi-source data with the dual evaluation process of territorial space, makes a reasonable analysis of the fit logic of territorial space planning, supplements the insufficient volume of traditional basic data, and revises the defects of simple data structure.Combined with examples, this research on the dual evaluation of territorial space planning of the 9th Production and Construction Division in Xinjiang is carried out.The existing research results have a strong reference significance for the empirical research and practical operation of the dual evaluation of territorial space.
