The background of this study is that novice designers and experts have quite different ways of thinking in design activities,and the other is that most of the current design can not effectively assist novice designers in creative design.In order to explore the potential differences in thinking activities between them,this study combines eye tracking technology to make qualitative and quantitative analysis of attention distribution,and summarizes the rules of attention transformation between novices and experts in the process of thinking activities.Finally,based on the eye movement feedback and control model,combined with the eye movement instrument,an i Pad application is used as the carrier to record the designer’s eye movement behavior in real time and output feedback through the recognition algorithm,so as to implement the attention transformation law that is more inclined to experts and get a high-quality design scheme.In this study,the eye tracker was used to carry out experiments,and three key characteristics about the thinking difference between novices and experts were obtained:(1)Experts show longer gaze time when facing a problem space,and they tend to focus on some schemes transformed from core ideas,and finally choose fewer combined schemes.This performance is positively related to the rationality of the scheme.(2)In saccade performance,expert designers tend to jump vertically between different question intervals,while novice designers prefer to jump horizontally within the same question space.And the jump range is positively related to the novelty of the scheme.(3)In the face of information blocks of different importance,both experts and novice designers can quickly and effectively extract key and important information blocks,but expert designers can evenly distribute their attention in each information block,and novice designers tend to ignore unimportant information blocks.Based on the conclusion of the experiment,this study constructs an eye movement behavior model and designs two real-time eye movement behavior recognition algorithms to guide the final output of the project and design interactive tools.Combined with the principle of human-eye interaction,the human-eye interaction design framework is proposed,and the interface prototype is designed.Finally,based on the output aided design tools,the usability test is carried out,and the actual effect of the product is verified by experimental data and analysis.
