In recent years,as countries around the world attach importance to environmental protection and sustainable development,the new energy vehicle(NEV)industry develops rapidly,and the market demand for power batteries increases explosively.In an era of volatility,uncertainty,complexity,and ambiguity(VUCA),NEV battery enterprises will face a series of external threats from natural disasters,geopolitical conflicts,and sluggish demand,as well as internal risks such as technological failures,insufficient funds,and production safety accidents and so on.Therefore,how NEV battery enterprises identify,assess,mitigate,and control various risks in supply chain operation is the premise of ensuring the safety and stability of the supply chain of the NEV industry chain,and it is also a common concern of academia and business.Based on the above background,this article conducts research on the identification and assessment of supply chain risks in NEV battery enterprises,which mainly includes the following four parts:Firstly,the current situation of the supply chain of NEV battery enterprises is analyzed.It is found that the NEV battery supply chain presents the characteristics of large-scale production in the upstream,long supply chain of raw materials,long R&D and production cycle,complex production process,and high degree of cooperation and collaboration.Secondly,identify the supply chain risks of NEV battery enterprises.Based on relevant literature on supply chain risk management and SCOR model,the supply chain risks of NEV battery enterprises are divided into five dimensions and 33 risk factors including planning and procurement,production and operation,sales and logistics,ability and cooperation,and external macro environment.Through expert scoring,29 new energy vehicle power battery supply chain risk factors are finally obtained.Thirdly,assess the supply chain risks of NEV battery enterprises.By sending questionnaires to employees of four NEV battery enterprises: CATL,BYD,CALB and SUNWODA,and using the recovered data and expert scores to conduct risk assessment,the AHP and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method are used to find that the overall supply chain risk of NEV battery enterprises is at a medium-high risk level,and sales and logistics are at the highest risk.Finally,according to the results of risk assessment,corresponding prevention and control measures are proposed for planning and procurement risk,production and operation risk,sales and logistics risk,capacity and cooperation risk and external macro environment risk.By identifying and assessing the supply chain risks of NEV battery enterprises,the research results not only enrich the supply chain risk management theory,but also provide suggestions for NEV battery enterprises to take appropriate and effective risk countermeasures,which is conducive to the stable and sustainable development of the supply chain of NEV battery enterprises. |
