| The wet market is a typical space of daily life, which is not only a space with trade functions, but also a space that carries local regional culture and a window for the expression of local meaning. In recent years,in the process of standardized transformation of wet markets, only focusing on the upgrading and transformation of the characteristics of the built environment has ignored the cultural significance behind the wet market, and also ignored the specific needs of people. The characteristics of local markets are difficult to reflect, and the smell of fireworks gradually dissipates in the process, giving people a feeling of being lost. The nature of place is dynamic, and rhythm analysis is a perspective for interpreting place. From the perspective of microgeography, this paper takes the wet market in Shuanglang Town,Dali Prefecture as an example, and uses participatory,non-participatory observation, interview and daily life trajectory methods to conduct a two-month survey of local wet markets, and analyzes the temporal and spatial behavior activities of different actors such as street vendors(vegetable vendors, meat vendors, fishmongers, mobile vendors)and consumers(resident consumers, tourist consumers, temporary tourist consumers)in the wet market. At the same time, based on Agnew’s "local trichotomy" and the perspective of rhythm analysis, the wet market is regarded as a "spatiotemporal whole",and attempts to construct a spatiotemporal model of local interpretation, starting from the daily activity rhythm and feeling rhythm of different activity groups in the wet market, and discusses the spatial rhythm and local characteristics of the wet market in Shuanglang Town,so as to identify the unique characteristics of the place, and on this basis, explore the sustainable development path of the local wet market,in order to provide ideas for the differentiated construction of the wet market. The main conclusions of the study are as follows:(1)The daily rhythm of street vendors defines the basic time frame of the spatial rhythm of the wet market.(2)The temporal and spatial behavior trajectories of different types of consumers show obvious differences, but the consumption preferences of different types of consumers also have commonalities.(3)Sensory experience is the basis for an emotional connection with the place.(4)Build a "space-time model" to understand the rhythm of space, and make a specific analysis of the Shuanglang wet market according to the "spatio-temporal model",and conclude that the most important "temporal and spatial rhythm points" in the Shuanglang wet market are the mobile stall area, milk fan sales stall, meat stall and fish stall. These dots represent the points with the highest frequency of visits and emotional preferences of all consumers.(5)The local characteristics of Shuanglangzhen Wet Market are manifested in space use, time composition, and physical presentation including clothing,language,ingredients,etc.(6)Taking the Shuanglang wet market as an example,it is proposed that the sustainable development of local wet markets should start from the sustainable development of local food ingredients, the continuation of local residents’ daily life, the extension of local residents’ social space, and the interactive participation of multiple parties in the construction of local wet markets. |
