| With the vigorous development of cities and their metro systems,metro entrance and its environment,as ground transportation nodes,have emerged in large numbers,injecting new energy into urban public space.At the same time,the gradual transformation of people’s transportation and lifestyle has also made the interaction between metro entrances and urban public spaces increasingly close.Under the macro urban development concept and urban rail transit planning,metro entrance can integrate universal and targeted user needs,becoming a part of urban public space with the characteristics of the rail transit era,as well as high-quality urban living space for people.In the context of the times,it is urgent to consider how to make metro entrance and its environment become urban oriented design.The article focuses on the relationship between metro entrance and cities.Taking the typical metro entrance and its environment in Suzhou,Wuxi,and Changzhou as the research objects,from the perspective of environmental design,the article explores design methods and practical research from two aspects: the integrity of urban spatial structure and the regionality of urban history and humanity,to deal with the problems:the failure to form a spatial interaction with the urban environment and express the urban characteristic culture.The article is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which defines the research background and related concepts of metro entrance and its environment.The second chapter analyzes the status of metro entrances and its environment in Suzhou,Wuxi and Changzhou,including distribution rules,spatial layout types,and element characteristics.It also summarizes the reasons why it urgently needs to be updated.The third chapter analyzes the practical experience of typical design cases of metro entrance and its environment at home and abroad.It concises design strategies for reference in the following design methods.The forth chapter proposes preliminary and specific design methods for the integrity relationship between metro entrance,the surrounding environment,and urban public space from four aspects: metro entrance building,function,facilities,and environmental factors.The fifth chapter discusses the preliminary and specific design methods for the regional attribute expression of metro entrance and its environment in the urban space from four aspects: urban natural landscape,cultural elements,theme creation,and human experience.Based on the above research conclusions and design methods,the sixth chapter takes the overall and partial stations of Wuxi metro Line 1 as an example to demonstrate the design practice. |
