| As a social activity,innovation is so complex and integrated that enterprises cannot rely on only one inventor or temporary simple cooperation to achieve it.With the rapid development of mobile internet technology and virtual organizations,enterprises have begun to encourage inventors to collaborate flexibly across departments and fields,and build a matrix and collaborative paradigm for inventor cooperation.Technological innovation is essentially the result of knowledge recombination.Inventor are the real implementer of knowledge recombination.In the face of complex knowledge systems,it is necessary to understand how enterprises use differentiated inventor network structures to realize knowledge recombination and improve technological innovation performance.Therefore,discovering the influence mechanism of inventor network structure and knowledge recombination on technological innovation performance can help enterprises form sustainable competitiveness and make full use of existing technological knowledge to carry out innovation activities.Based on the above background,this study takes the inventor network formed by inventors’ cooperative research and development as the starting point,takes the technological innovation performance of enterprises as the foothold,and deeply explores the influence mechanism of inventor network structure and knowledge recombination on technological innovation performance.First,sort out the relevant research of domestic and foreign scholars,and summarize the existing research deficiencies and breakthrough points.Secondly,combined with social network theory and knowledge-based theory,the conceptual model of this research is constructed,and the research hypothesis is put forward: the inventor network structure has an impact on the performance of technological innovation;based on the perspective of search recombination,innovation comes from the recombination of knowledge elements,and the inventor network structure may affect technological innovation performance through knowledge recombination;knowledge recombination and innovation activities require internal resource support,and different types of slack resources may affect the relationship between knowledge recombination and technological innovation performance.This study selects the patent authorization data of listed companies in the automobile industry from 2010 to 2022 to construct the inventor network,measures knowledge recombination based on the patent IPC classification number,uses the negative binomial regression model to test the proposed hypothesis,and finally puts forward the main research conclusions and gives corresponding management implications.The research found that:inventor network clustering coefficient and average path length have a positive effect on technological innovation performance;The slack resources play a moderating role in the relationship between knowledge recombination and technological innovation performance,among which the unabsorbed slack resources play a positive regulating role,and the absorbed slack resources play a negative regulating role.According to the research conclusions,the management enlightenment is as follows: form a flexible and cooperative inventor network to ensure the smooth communication channels of inventors;enrich the multi-technical knowledge reserve of the enterprise to maximize the efficiency of knowledge recombination;rationally allocate different types of slack resources and adjust innovation strategies resource level. |
