The economy development and people's livelihood are constrained by water resources and its allocation.As environmental issues have become increasingly prominent,the uneven geographical distribution of water resources has been further intensified because of the extreme weather in China.In order to achieve the sustainable development,a number of policies to strengthen construction of water conservancy facilities,investment of water technology and reform had been issued by Chinese government.This thesis studied the relationship between technological innovation and water resources allocation efficiency through the space perspective.Firstly,the researches on technological innovation and water resources allocation efficiency were reviewed,and relevant theories and hypotheses were proposed.Then,31 provinces(municipalities and autonomous regions)in China were selected as the research objects,the water resources allocation efficiency of each province from 2007 to 2016 was calculated,and the data was input to the map and generated the spatial matrix by Arcgis10.1.Next,the global spatial correlation and local spatial correlation of water resources allocation efficiency was tested by Open-Geoda software,and the spatial relationship of Chinese water resources allocation efficiency was analyzed.Furthermore,visualization of the comprehensive effects of technological innovation in 31 Chinese provinces was analyzed by constructing provincial technical innovation evaluation index system.Finally,the impact of technological innovation on provincial water resources allocation efficiency was explored by using Open-Geoda software and ML estimation of SEM model,the evaluation of provincial technological innovation was taken as independent variables and the allocation efficiency of provincial water resources was used as the dependent variable.It could be found that technological innovation had a positive effect on the allocation efficiency of provincial water resources,and the spillover effect of technological innovation had an effect on the allocation efficiency of water resources in our country.The following conclusions were drawn in this thesis:(1)Beijing,Tianjin,and Hebei,are more developed in technological innovation and has become growth poles in water resources allocation,and the distribution efficiency of water resources has had a proliferation effect.However,the water resources allocation efficiency in Guangdong has a return effect.(2)Water resources allocation efficiency of Xinjiang,Qinghai,Tibet,and Yunnan presented low-low aggregation,because technological innovation was relatively backward in these provinces.(3)Water resources allocation efficiency of Central and Northeast China were of no obvious local spatial correlation,and the technological innovation was not balanced in this places.(4)Chinese water resources allocation efficiency was spatially related,and technological innovation had a significant positive effect,the improvement of technological innovation can promote the diffusion of water resources allocation efficiency in the geographical space.Therefore,this thesis proposed suggestions for improving the water resources allocation efficiency by cultivating cultivation mode,diffusion mechanism and support measurements,and provided references for the formulation of water resources related policies in China.
