In the traditional import and export trade,the whole container transportation is often used.However,with the rapid development of “the belt and road initiative” and “cross-border e-commerce”,great changes have taken place in China’s foreign trade structure,small and medium-sized foreign trade enterprises have blossomed everywhere,and the demand for goods transportation has appeared in small quantities and batches,so LCL transportation has emerged as the times require.The operation and optimization of LCL by sea has become the focus of attention at present.It not only meets the needs of the freight market with rapid growth and diversified characteristics in the future,but also maintains the large-scale loading efficiency of containers.It is a very practical research topic to match the LCL resource capacity of containers with the freight demand with small quantity and high frequency.Firstly,according to the data of LCL goods,considering the volume factor of LCL goods,and taking the container capacity coefficient as an index,Ward method is used to classify LCL goods.Secondly,based on the classification of LCL goods,the real-time dynamic pricing model of LCL is established by using revenue management theory,and the optimal pricing strategy of LCL is solved by dynamic programming method.Finally,the effectiveness of the optimal pricing strategy is verified by numerical simulation.Finally,taking SK LCL International Freight Company as a case study,this paper summarizes the problems existing in the LCL service decision-making of SK Company and puts forward management suggestions.The results show that:(1)The optimal price is monotonic in the case of a single class of goods.The optimal strategy can be given by a set of critical values.For any decision-making period,the optimal price of each LCL level is non-incremental to the remaining capacity.When a decision-making period is given,there is a set of critical decision-making capacity,and the LCL operator chooses to refuse or accept the LCL request of the owner according to the critical decision-making capacity corresponding to each cargo grade.When the remaining capacity is less than the critical decision-making capacity corresponding to the cargo grade,the corresponding LCL request needs to be rejected at this time,otherwise it will be accepted;For any LCL capacity,the optimal price of each LCL level is non-decreasing for the remaining decision-making period.When the remaining LCL capacity is given,there are a set of critical decision periods,and LCL operators choose to reject or accept the LCL request of the owner according to the critical decision periods corresponding to each cargo grade.When the remaining decision-making period is greater than the critical decision-making period corresponding to the goods grade,the corresponding LCL request needs to be rejected at this time,otherwise it will be accepted.(2)In the case of multi-class goods,the optimal price is not necessarily monotonic.For each LCL cargo grade,the optimal price is non-decreasing to the remaining time.Real-time dynamic pricing of marine LCL can significantly improve the operational efficiency and LCL revenue,and provide scientific theoretical basis and decision support for the actual LCL operation organization.In practice,the dynamic pricing model can make LCL operation more flexible and efficient,and enhance the competitiveness of LCL operators in the market.In addition,for the logistics mode of multi-cargo combination,LCL by sea,real-time dynamic pricing can better balance the interests between the owner and the operator,and achieve the goal of optimizing operation and cost control.
