With the continuous advancement and application of autonomous driving technology,the safety,environmental friendliness,and efficiency of autonomous driving buses have attracted much attention and become one of the hotspots in market research.Many vehicle manufacturers and technology companies are conducting experiments and trial operations of autonomous driving buses in multiple cities nationwide,indicating that autonomous driving buses have entered the stage of practical application.However,before autonomous driving buses become popular,it is still necessary to address the issue of the reliability of autonomous driving bus systems,as well as the acceptance of passengers towards them.Therefore,the purpose of this research is to promote autonomous driving buses as a practical,available,user-friendly,and commonly used public transportation method,with the main research contents being:1.Analysis of factors affecting the operation of autonomous driving buses.The connotation of autonomous driving buses was interpreted,and the factors affecting their operation were analyzed.By outlining autonomous driving buses,introducing autonomous driving technology and standards,and explaining the definition,development process,and service model of autonomous driving buses,the concept was made clearer.Considering the differences between autonomous driving buses and traditional buses,their operational and passenger usage characteristics were analyzed,with particular emphasis on the two research focuses of system reliability and passenger acceptance,and the factors affecting system reliability and passenger acceptance were analyzed.2.Analysis and evaluation of the reliability of autonomous driving bus systems.By conducting real vehicle investigations and using the Scrapy web crawler framework to obtain trajectory data of autonomous driving buses,their motion status,trajectory characteristics,and differences from manual takeover were analyzed,laying the foundation for the establishment of a reliability evaluation index system for autonomous driving bus systems.The reliability of system operation was divided into technical reliability,operational reliability,service reliability,and safety reliability criteria,which can more accurately reflect the characteristics of the operation of autonomous driving bus systems.Using the Dematel,Critic,and combination weighting methods,a subjective and objective combined evaluation index weighting calculation method was established to ensure the reliability and credibility of evaluation index weights.By using cloud model to achieve the conversion from quantitative to qualitative,a reliability evaluation method for autonomous driving bus system operation based on cloud model was constructed.The example verification showed that the combined weight of the rule layer of the Li Jia autonomous driving bus in Chongqing was ranked from highest to lowest as follows: safety reliability(0.2814),technical reliability(0.2789),operational reliability(0.2304),and service reliability(0.2094),and the final composite reliability of system operation was at a "moderate reliability" level,with room for further improvement.3.Study of passenger acceptance of autonomous driving buses.Based on the Technology Acceptance Model(TAM),an extended TAM model is constructed,and additional variables related to passenger perception and vehicle performance are added to improve the accuracy and precision of the model.The model hypotheses are combed through extensive reading of relevant literature on autonomous driving acceptance,and a research model is established,supplemented by analysis methods and fitting test conditions for the model.A survey questionnaire is designed based on the research model as a theoretical guide and combined with the actual research needs of this paper.The example results of passenger acceptance of the Li Jia autonomous driving bus show that the basic TAM relationship is verified.For the extended variables,perceived comfort has a positive effect on perceived usefulness(0.082)and trust(0.176),perceived risk has a negative effect on trust(-0.523),trust has a positive effect on usage intention(0.205)and perceived ease of use(0.534),subjective norms have a positive effect on usage intention(0.171),and quality of information service has a positive effect on perceived ease of use(0.460),perceived system reliability has a positive effect on perceived usefulness(0.082).
