The Osmanthus Garden of Qingxiu Mountain Scenic Area of Nanning was completed and opened in 2017.As one of the series of special plant parks in Qingxiu Mountain Scenic Spot,it is an important carrier for plant scientific research and science popularization education in Nanning,and an important base for the preservation of macconolin germplasm resources.In this paper,the field survey method was adopted to make a comprehensive survey and statistics of garden plant resources in Qingxiu Mountain Osmanthus Garden,as well as to sample survey and analyze the vertical structure and diversity characteristics of typical garden plant communities.The Scenic Beauty Estimation and Semantic Differential method were used to evaluate and analyze the sample plots of garden plant communities,and the characteristics of plant landscape were summarized.Analyze the main problems and make preliminary suggestions.The main research results are as follows:1.The landscape structure of the Osmanthus Garden of Qingxiu Mountain Scenic Area of Nanning was "One Belt,one axis,five areas and multiple nodes",which was divided into five landscape areas: Guizhiyuan Cultural Area.Guizhichuan Cultural Area,Guizhishi Cultural area,Guizhiyuan Cultural area and Yanyu Lake Waterfront Landscape area.Different areas had different landscape functions and were used to display different Osmanthus varieties,among which Guizhiyuan Cultural area mainly displayed Osmanthus varieties comprehensively,Guizhichuan Cultural area mainly displayed Osmanthus fragrans cv.Gorup "Semperflornce",Guizhishi Cultural area displayed Osmanthus fragrans cv.Gorup "Colour",Guizhiyuan Cultural area displayed Osmanthus fragrans cv.Gorup "Auarntiacus",Osmanthus fragrans cv.Gorup "Jingui" and Osmanthus fragrans cv.Gorup "Yingui",and Yanyu Lake waterfront landscape area mainly displayed wetland plants.There were 6groups of main landscape nodes and 8 groups of secondary landscape nodes.2.There were 275 species of garden vascular plants belonging to 85 families and 176 genera in the Osmanthus Garden of Qingxiu Mountain.Oleaceae plants was the most important species in the garden landscape.Depauperate families(2~5 species)and medium families(6~10 species)plants were frequently applied in the garden.Multiple family(>10 species)plants constituted the main landscape of garden plants in the garden.The plant life forms were quite complete,101 perennial herb species being the most,accounting for 36.73% of the garden plant species in the Osmanthus Garden.Some plants had multiple ornamental characteristics,with 192 species(69.82%)of flower ornamental plants being the most,followed leaf ornamental plants(64 species,23.27%),shaped ornamental plants(32 species,11.64%),fruit ornamental plants(30 species,10.91%)and stem ornamental plants(16 species,5.82%).There were 144 species of aromatic plants,accounting for 52.36%.3.In the 40 plots investigated,the main plant community structure was Tree-Shrub-Herb type,with 35,accounting for 87.50% of the plots.Herb layer plants had the largest number of species,with 41 species,accounting for42.70% of the garden plant species in the plot.The number of plant species in tree layer and shrub layer was similar,with 28 species and 27 species,accounting for 29.17% and 28.12% respectively.In tree layer,shrub layer and herb layer,the highest relative importance values were Ficus altissima(19.308%),Osmanthus fragrans ’semperflorens’(12.042%)and Zoysia matrella(13.097%).In tree layer and shrub layer,the Osmanthus plants were absolutely dominant.4.The diversity of the plant community was significantly differentiated,and the α-diversity index of tree layer was low.Shrub plants were the groups with the highest species dominance and species evenness.The α-diversity indices of trees,shrubs and herb layers were similar in different regions.Landscape areas with rich plant species were represented by Guizhi Culture area and Yanyu Lake Waterfront Landscape area.5.This paper established a set of garden plant community landscape evaluation system with 4 landscape perspectives and 12 landscape characteristic factors about the Osmanthus Garden of Qingxiu Mountain Scenic Area of Nanning,and focuses on analyzing 3 typical excellent plant landscape cases.The results showed that all the 12 landscape feature factors passed the Normality Test.The correlation degree of landscape feature factors ranked from high to low as Color beauty > Comfort > Harmony > Spatial level > Cultural flavor embodiment > Plant configuration > Terrain >Openness > Skyline > naturalness > Species richness > Form beauty.The most significant factors affecting the garden plant community landscape of the Osmanthus Garden of Qingxiu Mountain were Color beauty and Comfort.
